The standard of the average Indian restaurant in the UK is very high, and the the proof of it is in the proliferation of neighbourhood curry houses with a strong local following. If you live in Beckenham, you probably don’t need telling that you’ve got one of the best local places around, in the form of The Curry Cottage on Kelsey Park Road. They’ve been serving up subcontinental specialities since the 1970s, and in their over 40 years in the Indian restaurant game, they’ve mastered their trade. Their menu takes in classics from a band across the north of the Indian subcontinent – from Pakistan and Kashmir in the west, across the foothills of the Himalayas and on to the eastern coastal areas of Bangladesh – as well as curry classics that we all know and love. Wash that down with a few beers – or something from the extensive wine list – and you’re well on your way to a great night out in South London.

We were made to feel very welcome. The food was Excellent. Will Definitely Recommend to Family & Friends.The Decor Was Lovely. The Staff Were So Friendly Too. We had a Great Night. Will be coming back.
