As usual we got a warm welcome, were recognised as previous customers and treated like friends, and the wonderful food, freshly cooked, was as delicious as ever. What's not to love?

Excellent meal and good value. Only criticism is that the portions may have been more generous. Otherwise friendly staff, quality food and a nice treat.

Fabulously run restaurant by lovely mum and daughter. Food exceptional, lovely flavours. Not a lot on the menu but what is there is worth trying. Very attentive as soon as you arrive. Will definitely be going back and recommending it to friends.

Interesting menu food well made and well priced . We had tapas and wine for 2 at a cost of 30 which considering the wine was good (and was priced at 16 pounds on its own ) was very cheap. Im my view however they should also offer a tapas deal with larger portions but no wine gor similar price. Chicken livers and faver bean dish were particurly good.

Fantastic food and well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back and I look forward to seeing the new menu when it comes out. There is a vegan-only menu night, which could be of interest to vegans/vegetarians. I’m sure the food will be great.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was bang in and authentic. I’ve been to the Lebanon and it was the same food. Served the same way only better. The owner and waitress were lovely friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back

This is a lovely little restaurant. The staff, including the chef were charming. We both ordered the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The food is very honest and fresh tasting and clearly made with a bit of love. Whatever you choose, do try their version of a Mediterranean bread and butter pudding- it’s fantastic. So if you live in Southport or just visiting you should really give this restaurant a go. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

A lovely family run restaurant serving great quality Lebanese/Egyptian food. Good portions and great variety to chose from. Reasonable prices with great options, we went for the set taster menu and added spicy sausage to the starter which we would highly recommend. We will return if we are in the area again.

A vegan, a vegetarian and a carnivore all walk into a restaurant and had the most delicious freshly cooked meals. Go there, it's wonderful and the staff are nearly as delicious 😘

This is a great little restaurant. It is easy for vegetarians to eat with meat loving friends and everyone is happy. It is a family run business and has a great atmosphere. A real hidden gem in Southport.

First time at the Fig Bistro and will certainly not be our last. We are both vegetarian and there was plenty for us to choose from on the menu. The food and wine were excellent and great quality and value for money. We were made most welcome and would certainly recommend to others. A real gem in the heart of Southport. Beverley & Peter
