Inspired by the rich culinary culture of Italy, Spain and the Mediterranean, The Fig Tree restaurant in London’s vibrant Islington is a chic and elegant space producing high quality and wholesome dishes to satisfy both traditional and adventurous tastes. We recommend selecting a few entree items to share – perhaps the funghi ripieni, mushrooms stuffed with peppers, onion, garlic and breadcrumbs, antipasti prosciutto, and the delectable gamberoni piccanti, king prawns with garlic, tomato, chilli and fennel set over toasted ciabatta. Follow those up with lubino, a pan fried fillet of sea bass served with lemon butter sauce, baked cherry tomatoes and roasted new potatoes.
