Brilliant service. Had a choice of a table. Very good ambience.
Excellent food staff wonderful well done we will return 👍👍👍👍👍
Good range of choice on the menu. Good presentation and flavours
Very nice meal. I had roasted figs with parma ham and then venison. All nicely arranged. I felt full with the two courses. You need a starter really as the main is filling but not hugely filling. It was slices of venison arranged left to right on a long plate with spinach. And potato dauphinoise in separate dish - plenty of it. The meat was tender and tasty. Didn't need a dessert. Would recommend.
We had a lovely Sunday roast here, and it was excellent. The service was very good, Hannah worked very hard between tables. I can't fault the lunch, or the location, so we will be going again.
Lovely food great rooms comfy bed friendly staff and very clean well looked after
We went as a family of 5, we all had a different dish, but our feelings were all the same. All of us had enjoyed our meal and came home well satisfied. Hamesy
Great food, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. What's not to like!
Good good and very friendly staff. Keep up good work.
I loved it ill definatley go back again thank you French horn
Good food very good service comfortable restaurant interesting menu good evening
Getting there was was very difficult due to roadworks and a diversion. Not surprising then very quiet not the busy vibrant atmosphere of the past. Food though was very good. Service was ok and friendly but had to prompt for drinks on arrival, condiments and sauces. However minor matters and I loved the Polish apple pie. Well worth a visit if you don't mind the diversion which I believe runs till September 2019
A nice pub with helpful staff serving a good choice of quality food. Unfortunately for us we are not local and at the time of visiting the French Horn it is surrounded by road and bridge works with a very long detour in place. We visited at the end of January 2019 and we were told the works will last for a further 6 months.
