Booking experience was good. Service average. You need more trained staff. When I ordered Coffee Americano with pouring cream. It came with cold milk. Could not find staff in restaurant area so my wife had to queue at the bar to ask for pouring cream. By that time I ended up with cold coffee. Food was good. Good luck with recruiting trained staff. Seldom have anything other than excellent food and friendly service.

Family get together, good home cooking, tasty food, pleasant landlord. Ingredients are fresh and cooked on order, hence the wait. Could have done with a candle or two on our large table in not very bright corner. We went back twice, so it must be good. Would recommend this pub restaurant, which also has a steady trade for take away fish and chips.
