Excellent value and quality of ingredients. Ample choices on the menu and portions are very generous. The owner clearly knows what he is doing to keep his customers happy and encouraging them to return. Decor is simple but extremely spacious and welcoming... baby changing facilities 5 star.. Went for Mother’s Day treat for lunch. Four moms food was amazing steak and ale pie huge fish with chips and king prawn and chorizo linguini we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals as well as the atmosphere. It was Lovley to see people out side having meals too as gardens are lovley chilling peaceful area. Would definitely recommend the Korev too. And thank you for our bunch of daffodils each was a beautiful touch. Definitely going back

Had to send my main meal back as someone in the kitchen doesn’t know how to heat the food. Home made steak pie, I suggest you invest in a thermometer to check that the food is cooked before you present it to the customers in future.

Nice refurbishment, including the car parking. Food was ok but still needs some work on presentation and quality. I expected hot portions as the resturant was not that busy. My steak and ale pie was hot but the fries only warm. The Rosti was well done but quickly replaced by hot fries. Service at the table was good and attentive when required.

The hollybush was had had a great face lift & the patio area was fantastic however we waited 50 mins for our main course & it wasn't as hot as it should have been & we had to ask 3 times for our bill !!!! I had to walk up in the bed to pay it, my score is must try harder!!!!

Staff friendly, food was great. Thought the lighting in the restaurant was slightly too bright although this would not stop me giving it a five star review.

Lovely, clean, freshly decorated, new look restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food, Grandson’s fries were cold but soon replaced with fresh. Need bigger choice of desserts. Apple pie/ Eton mess .... A really nice friendly atmosphere with a warm welcoming fire. Will visit again.

Lovely decor as it has only been open for a month. Good car parking, pleasant staff but choice of food seemed limited. One ordered braised ox cheek ( a cheap meat stew) but came in a very small bowl with hardly any veg. Needs bigger portions. Fish good but hardly any chips but what we had was good.

Lots of good things to say about this place but a couple of negatives as well. The starters were not warm enough and service was a bit slow. We waited about 45mins for our starters. On the positive side the mains and the desserts were very good and the staff were pleasant. Overall a good night which was probably only spoilt because they were so busy.

Had a very good meal three of our party had fish and chips which looked amazing staff very friendly and helpful. The sea bass was very good as was hake and fishcake. Would definitely return.

Called mate on arrival and was shown to our table. The table behind us was occupied by a family of mindless millenium muppets who could not care less about their surroundings by letting their offspring play loud music on their phones. Told management who could not care less. Food not bad but cauliflower was cold in the middle and most of the meal had been microwaved....could do a lot better!

Attentive staff, great food, good value for money,refurb has been done to high standard. Will definitely be returning.

Food again amazing calamari just right. Mushroom starter amazing. Gin and tonic battered fish WOW. Really friendly helpful staff knowledgeable regarding menu and drinks good selection on spirts easy to see choice available. Good selection on tonics and soft mixer drinks. Thank you for fabulous meal again. Will definitely be back.

Wow looks amazing from refurb relaxing chilled atmosphere. Went for food with my daughter starters goats cheese and calamari both delicious. Ox cheek was amazing and filling. Chicken wings and buffalo sauce was delicious. We would of loved to try the amazing looking deserts but was too full 😟 can’t wait to go again and try something g different from the menu. Also looking forward to The warmer weather and long summer nights to make the most of the new garden patio area. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely meal and chilled atmosphere.

Excellent, food and service, lovely and fresh and clean after the recent refurbishment. Steaks were cooked perfectly, really couldn't ask for more. Looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastic food - really delicious and beautifully presented. Also great staff and lovely surroundings. Brilliant time had by the family celebrating my Daughter’s new job. We will be back!

The refurbishment was perfect from the beautifully laid out car park to the tasteful inside decor. My husband and I both had the flat iron steaks that were cooked to our great satisfaction followed by the best lemon meringue cheesecake I've ever had. The staff were polite and attentive without hovering over you constantly. We shall certainly be returning in the very near future.

Always a great meal. Staff are always friendly and very attentive. Warm comfortable setting, great menu. Clean facilities too. It’s been our local for many years.

We have eaten at the Hollybush several times & the service is always excellent & the food plentiful & good value & quality. Last night however, whilst the service remained excellent, the food was not upto it's usual high standard. The aubergine chilli was mediocre & there was very little of it & the small poppadoms were oily. My friends roast chicken was also small & accompanied by a meagre portion of mashed potatoes & sliced carrots. Perhaps the Christmas rush was to blame & we will certainly hope that standards are back to normal when we next visit.

Enjoyable evening eating with friends - under new management staff were very attentive & pleasant. Did find the menu a little limiting would like more choices.

Very relaxed atmosphere and good food. A chocolate brownie to die for. Best I think I've had. My husband said the batter on his fish was delicious..

Excellent traditional home cooked food. Menu nice and simple as not to over complicate and hinder quality. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Look forward to visiting again.

Both excellent food and service .would definitely recommend this pub to,all my friends. The beef was as usual from Aubrey Allen ,very good. Cheese board ,a feast on its own.

Great food and great service. Always is! There is always a warm welcoming smile to greet you when you arrive too, nothing is too much trouble and it’s nice for the staff to actually interact with customers and not be rushed or pressured. Thank you

I think the new owners need time to cope with large parties so that other diners don't have long wait times for their food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
