Brilliant service and amazing food! My son said it was the best chicken burger ever and he's had a few! The homemade steak and ale pie was very tasty and filled with steak.

The pub is very beautiful old build which is what we enjoy the history of the build the staff where wonderful helpful service was great the food was fresh and lovely very tasty and reasonably priced would most definitely go back again.

Lovely little pub tucked away in the square. Food excellent roast beef and good selection of vegetables. All cooked to our satisfaction. Staff very efficient and friendly. Thanks for nice lunch we will be returning.

We shared a delicious mushroom bruschetta to start. Followed by lamb shank with new potatoes & fresh garden peas, my sister had the beef & ale pie. Fantastic deserts as well citron tarte and cherry tarte with ice cream. Great service Chef came out of the kitchen to check that all was to our liking.

Very welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and great location. Visited after a day at Lydden Hill Race Circuit. Food was delicious; especially the mini egg cheesecake 🙌 Will definitely be back.

A basic pub menu which was well cooked and presented. The staff are friendly and very helpful checking your requirements are fulfilled every step of the way.

It is a great venue. Excellent food. Friendly service. We sat in the bay of the bar. A sunny day, it was like sitting in a conservatory. We loved the Post Office in a niche of the bar!
