More about the restaurant: The Last Days of The Raj

The Last Days of the Raj were some years past – Indian independence was 60 years or so ago – and, indeed, The Last Days of the Raj restaurant is a long way from India itself, but they’re putting up a more than decent effort from their location in Dinnington Village. Their menu is inspired by the flavours of India and Bangladesh, and the whole gamut of spices and ingredients that are so entailed, from starters fresh from the tandoor ovens or a range of curries that takes in both the classics of the genre and a few house signatures thrown in for good measure. Visit The Last Days of the Raj on the Main Street in Dinnington Village, just up the road from Newcastle for an Indian meal to remember in the North East.
