Set in a handsome, half-timbered house down Station Road in the picturesque village of Knowle, The Lloyds Indian Restaurant serves up (and delivers for free!) some of the best Indian in the local area. The fine selection of Indian dishes (plus some European classics) brings in diners from across Solihull, and it’s a big plus that The Lloyds insist on non-GM foods and a regular schedule of live entertainment, and are perfect hosts when you’re in need of a private function or outdoor catering.

Food was superb as usual. Service was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Best Indian restaurant in Knowle and surrounding area.
Great food, friendly staff and very competitively priced. Took friends there for a birthday meal and had a great time. Thank you Lloyds!
Gorgeous food, great service, definitely would recommend going to eat there
For a village of around 11,000 people, Knowle is home a surprising number of fantastic restaurants. Just a short drive from Solihull town centre, people visit Knowle not only for the quaint and very English prospects afforded by the West Midlands’ rolling green spaces and the village’s profusion of half-timbered, wattle-and-daub architecture. They come for the food too; and set into one of these Tudoresque domiciles along Station Road is an example of that other British institution, the curry house. The Lloyds Indian Restaurant is its name, and if fine Indian food is your game, you’ll want to check this gem out.
The Lloyds Indian Restaurant is open seven days a week from the early evening, whipping up a great range of Indian delicacies for casual diners and regular parties of people out for a celebration in Knowle. For private dining, The Lloyds offer their separate function room free of charge, and if the great outdoors is where you’d like to dine, they can come to you with their experienced external catering staff. The food at this Station Road restaurant is classic Indian, from their superlative samosas, through to the Full Monty, a decadent platter of chicken, lamb, and meen tikka, pakora and mini-prawn butterfly. Spice-timid Solihull residents will be glad to hear there’s a range of European dishes available as well.
