The Maghera Inn

Had a great meal, it was really busy so had a bit of a wait for our table,but it was worth the wait as the food was lovely.

Great friendly service and the food was lethal.. I had maghera inn burger, wifey had 2 starters.. the garlic mushrooms and mussels.. and kids had sausage and chips.. we were there last week aswell and will be back again

The restaurant was able to let us arrive 45mins early, the food was great and so too was the service. This was our 4th visit and it has been to the same high standard each time

Although it was very busy on arrival we had our order taken within 15 mins the food was delicious the staff were very pleasant and helpful and I hope to return soon

Delicious food and excellent value. Love the fact that they try and source local produce wherever possible. Staff are friendly and very attentive without being intrusive; the perfect balance.

Awesome meal as usual. Never disappointed with anything we order. Food is fantastic along with the service. We have just decided we will have to visit just for coffee and dessert one afternoon because we never have room after dinner. See you again soon.

I only get to visit the inn on holidays. I have always had good food there and a warm welcome. It was busier than I expected for a Monday and the waitress was kept busy.

COSY BUSY SPOT FOR SUNDAY LUNCH, NICE FRIENDLY STAFF WARM IRISH WELCOME, RELAXED ATMOSPHERE AND NO ONE RUSHING YOU

Lovely meal. We always eat here when in that locality. However this time we were refused a table in the sun room part of the restaurant which was disappointing as there were loads of empty tables the whole time we were there. Instead we were given a tiny table beside the cash register. Not ideal as it was noisy and busy there.

Booking worked well, venison burger and steak burger were both good, as was the vegetarian menu (creamy linguine with fresh vegetables) all special orders delivered as requested (hold the onions, no bacon on mine, can I have tomato ketchup, can we add the drinks to the bill etc). Made a pleasant birthday even better.
