When you stop by The Museum, you know what it is you’re getting: honest, British pub food, great cask ales and a warm, family-friendly buzz. It’s therefore clear why the people of Carlisle know they can rely on The Museum, particularly when you then consider its rich history that’s there to be learnt about inside the Moorhouse Road premises. From the menu in this part of Carlisle – Belle Vue, to be precise – you can expect pub classics in the way of homemade curry of the day, breaded scampi, Cumberland sausage with mash and gravy and homemade lasagne, to name just a few. The Museum is a hit and we can’t recommend a reservation enough.
The Museum has a great atmosphere and food. We've eaten there a few times now and have never been disappointed. The price is great too.
