The Peacock. We love The Peacock. We love it’s pizza, we love it’s prosecco, we love it’s gin list. It’s a bit of a fancy bird and although recently refurbished, The Peacock in Liverpool has been providing great pizza and creative nights out since 2008. On the happening Seel Street in Ropewalks, this is one you certainly won’t want to miss. Yes, yes, we did mention pizza, and The Peacock bakes every single one of theirs in its own artisan oven whilst experimenting with some rather curious toppings. The aptly named drunken scouser is topped with bangers, egg, bacon and mushrooms, while the hillbilly redneck is complete with spicy southern fried chicken, crumbled blue cheese and hot buffalo sauce. There are plenty more (as well as some exciting sides), but we can’t list them all. Head to Ropewalks and check The Peacock out for yourself.
Went for food on a Saturday evening - lovely as a bar/ club but avoid for a meal on a Saturday night told there would be a 40 minute wait before I could order food! Overall recommend as a bar but not for food on a Saturday night
good value for money- good offers for students through student eye app. Had vegan options which was good. Nice inside decorations and good location if wanted to go out somewhere else after
Food was really good, pizzas cooked well and really good price for money but service wasn't amazing, took a while for the pizza to come.
