A legend among pubs in Leith, The Persevere stands proudly as one of Edinburgh’s most respected watering holes. Found along Easter Road, this bar and restaurant features gorgeous traditional mahogany woodwork, tiled murals and a dark, classic ambience that’s reminiscent of pubs from the old days. With outdoor seating for those warm summer days, The Persevere is ideal for locals who like having a pint in the fresh air, and with a lengthy menu of food choices from cabbage and ribs and auld reekie chicken to herb-crusted baked salmon, you can make yourself right at home at this cosy hotspot. The Persevere is a classic bar that’s at the top of our list. Make you way over with all you friends in tow, but make sure to reserve in advance as they’re known to get packed!
