Very appealing interior with a nice evening atmosphere with live music after 6pm. Great tasting food with a very good selection of food for gluten intolerance.

It is a good venue and friendly staff but they seriously need air conditioning for the place as it is extremely warm. Understandably the weather has been hot recently but I can imagine if you stayed later on in the venue it would be humid all year round. The food was good although my friends pizza was a little under cooked. They also only had Carlsberg Lager which I don't like so that was a bit disappointing. Understandably I heard they had a problem with the CO2 so they were out of other lagers. I can understand this as a one off but would be gutted if it happened again. The only other small problem was the sound on the football matches was out of sync with the TV's which was a bit annoying. If these small details can be fixed I believe this will be a great venue and we can keep us coming back for more.

Service was great, drinks were great but the food let it down. The fish was very basic and the Yorkshire burger didn’t seem to go together as well as it sounded. Would definitely go again for drinks but not for food. Wetherspoons is oposite and would rather go there for something to eat first. The interior was gorgeous though, the decor was gorgeous, the sheds were great looking and made you feel like you were in another country. Shame that the beer garden closes at 9:30 and we were pushed inside while still eating. Nothing can be done though because of the flats next door. Would have picked a better location for it if i were them. But the staff were 10/10 and were working very hard and very apologetic for having to move us inside. Would visit again.

My first visit to The Potting Shed was on Saturday 7th July for lunch and to watch the England-v-Sweden game. Two friends were visiting from London with their 11yr old daughter and I had my 12 yr old son with me. The staff were so welcoming, without me asking they actually moved us to a table where we could see the screens better! The food was delicious, cocktails amazing...try the Rhubarb Fumbled! Very attentive table service. An absolutely 5 star experience, would highly recommend!! So happy to have The Potting Shed in my home town 😆😆😆

Nice surroundings, great for watching sport, good beer garden in the sun. Good selection of drinks, friendly service. Food could do with improving - pizza bases doughy and burgers overcooked
