A Friday night trip to the curry house is always a popular choice, and indeed, the good people of Kirkcaldy are as game as any to head to an Indian restaurant for a Friday night treat. Those in the know will make The Prince Indian Restaurant their destination, as they have spent the greater part of the last twenty years building up a reputation for bringing the very best in subcontinental cooking on the Scottish coast. You can find them on the High Street in Kirkcaldy, and when you arrive, you’ll encounter a menu of bona fide classics, from tandoori meats to start, all the classic curries that we know and love and a range of chef’s specialities that reward repeat visits. Try their nashidar, in a sauce of sweetcorn, mushrooms and brandy, or the sharabi, featuring fresh ground spices and a touch of Scotch whisky. Do remember to book in advance at The Prince Indian Restaurant, as they are one of the best Indian restaurants in Fife, and will get crowded on occasion.
Never had a bad meal here and this was no different, excellent food and service. Whether its a sit in meal or takeaway I would always use and recommend the Prince.
Great restaurant, fantastic value at lunch time the food was excellent and not too much, staff were great. Kids all found something from the menu no problem. We all had three courses and a drink each and there was 5 of us for just over £40
We had a lovely weekday lunch here. The food was really tasty, good quality, generous portions, served beautifully. Our waiter was helpful and attentive, he made us feel very welcome. The value for money is incredible. Looking for an excuse to go back soon!
We went for the banquet for two and it was very tasty with plenty food and lots of variety. Staff were friendly and we would definitely go back.
Great food. Fantastic ambience. Courteous staff. Busy place tonight but staff always talk to everyone. Nothing is too much trouble. And waiters always say goodbye 🎄
Lovely food as always. The Executive Banquet is a great way to taste many of the dishes, and the starters especially are really very good.
No complaints about the quality or the quantity of the a la carte meal. The decor is a bit drab. However, the staff were attentive. Would consider going back. .
No atmosphere and food was awful. Couldn't tell the difference between different dishes ordered as all looked like the same sauce was used. Even nan bread was terrible.
