Excellent service, lovely decor. Starters of pate and whitebait followed by gammon and beef and a dessert of Eton mess were all nicely prepared. Decent range of ales. All in all a first rate Sunday lunch
We had a lovely meal at this country pub just north of Romford in Stappleford Abbotts. The food was lovely, all homemade. The service was good too & we look forward to returning :)
We had five in our party we had a lovely experience.Service was excellent all ordered differently all arrived together piping hot cannot wait to go back.
friendly staff, good food ! all set in country setting , went on Saturday night and entertained by good singer , will go again soon ,
The pub itself is lovely and quaint with a modern bar with a wide range of beers, cider and nice reasonably priced wine. There is a nice sized garden with plenty of tables and a modern bar that belts out some good tunes. There is a warm feeling conservatory in which you can eat if you can't decide restaurant or garden. The food itself was divine and quite sizeable portions. The staff were welcoming and friendly yet being knowledgable about the food, we will definitely being going back again.
A nice, warm welcome (quite literally) from the roaring fire followed by excellent food & service from Sharice. It was our first visit to The Rabbits but it certainly won't be our last.
The ambience of the Rabbits was excellent. We had prebooked our choice of meal and it was served very quickly and efficiently. The majority of the meal was excellent but the brussels were so hard you could not even get a fork into them. Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will book again for next year making this the third year will will have been to the Rabbits for our Christmas meal
Greeted by name, and with a smile, but sadly, our waiter did not smile for the whole of our stay. The food was good, but not great. Our Sunday Roast beef was rather tough. The vegetable were good, except for the roasteds, which were soggy. Maybe 1.30 is a bit late for good roasteds, though the Sunday Roast is served up to 6pm. Portions are plentiful. The other couple seemed to do better with a burger and with scampi.
Very nice and friendly pub. Lovely beer garden with little tiki bar, great to sit out in the sunshine looking out over the horses field. Food was very good, not a vast menu but all four in our party enjoyed what we got. Will definitely be returning.
Been here before and enjoyed the meals. This time the menu had changed quite a bit and prices had gone up but the food was excellent and well worth the money. The service was very good. Could not fault anything. Will certainly be going back the only problem is deciding which dish to try next.
