Easy to book, friendly reception and shown to table. Really nice environment. Food was excellent, really tasty and large portions. Order to service 45 minutes. Parking very busy.

Very nice place and staff are Brill, toilets need attention ie new hot blowers also could do with a chicken brest option as me and the kids love chicken breast meat and don't mind paying extra as our usual Indian restaurant have it on there menu.

The style of the pub is modern and stylish. It has a busy atmosphere. The food was amazing. I ordered the red lion large mixed grill for me and my daughter to share. I couldn't believe how big it was. It would easily feed 4 people. It was hard to try and get the attention of any of the staff as it was very busy but I would definitely go again.

Worst customer experience ever. I actually feel let down by this place however I understand why after reflecting. This place doesn’t care about their customers it only cares about making money. Which is fine however I will not be back. The customers that this place is aimed at are low paid workers who do not care about how they are treated or the service that they receive. Waiting for food for over an hour with no notice is unsatisfactory and unacceptable. When challenging this you are left with 2 options either have a refund or wait longer. It’s a cash cow for drunk people who do not care how they are treated in Society.

Excellent service and very good quality food, dining area was a little on the cool side but not unbearable.

Refused to swap some meat out for chops, other places do it. Had to ask for salad with a £30 mixed grill order. Salad was stale ish. Had to ask for more mint and chutney sauce, why supply only a few spoons! Food was ready server refused to deliver waiting for another to deliver to our table.

Well, just as we have found over the last 12 to 15 years we have been visiting The Red Lion to us it's always great, we do on occasion, when we can't book in at the Red Lion try elsewhere, but always end up saying that the Red Lion for us is the best,we remember it at its original dining room tiny to what it is now

We were seated promptly. When the food was to come the waitress left the plates and cutlery on the other side of the table. We were three and cutlery for two! The waitress wasn’t welcoming just left the items and went. We had a bigger table (our choice as wanted it under the heat) but she’d leave it at the other end no attempt to place food near us! Definitely lacked customer service skills! Food was ok. They can and have done better! Our naan was so crispy almost burnt and the taarka daal was half uncooked. It was hard to get hold of any waiter/waitress Left feeling disappointed especially as this was one of our favourite places to go!

We were a group booking, with diverse menu choices. Our orders ere tken easily, and individual payments mde efficiently. There was, however, one mix up in the order.

I found the interior of the building a bit dissapointing as it was just a modern bar type place with TV screens and music playing, I thought some of the original pub features might have been kept. There were no starters listed on the menu so we just ordered some suitable dishes to share between 4 people. After a little wait the fish pakora and lamb chops arrived, as we started to eat these the main dishes arrived and we were told they always bring out meals at the same time. The food was good especially the fish pakora. One thing to mention is that portions are very big!! and we ended up with way to much food. Overall great food but would have been better if starters and mains were bought out seperatly.

Grilled food was good, we ordered Sagg Paneer & Bombay Potato they were both identical in taste, quite bland and didn’t represent value for money. We left most of the two curry’s

It was our first time. The car park was full even at 21.00hrs on a Friday night. That really says it all. What a brilliant place. We ordered everything in one go. We should have really ordered the starters then once we had finished that then ordered the mains, that would have meant that our nans and main course would have been a bit warmer.
