Always a pleasure to to eat at the Red Lion, as usual the service was great.

Clean restaurant, great food and great service but slight delay with order

Great place, will definitely go again when next in the area. Excellent staff, tasty food and big portions.

First time here, greeted by a smiling welcoming face, restaurant was clean and well spaced, food amazing, a little perturbed when asked to pay for meal prior to even arriving at the table but also impressed that they felt myself and friend (both over 50) were capable of doing a runner!!

Great food and good service once again. Love the place.

Our food was as good as we expected. I thought the service, which is always very good, was even better. The place was noisy but it was full so that's not surprising. All in all we had a great time.

The place is very popular, busy on a weekday . QR code table service . Food came quickly, large portions. The actual food was okay- not amazing but not terrible either . Did not stay overly long and staff were wiping our table whilst we were still there- I don’t like that . Overall a 6.and a half out of ten.

Date night food was great as always been using this pub for years staff are great as always thank you foe a great night

Lovely staff. Food seemed less salty, particularly the grill which is a good thing. A bit cold in the garden room but overall a good evening.

We arr regulars at the Red Lion but have never been in a Sunday afternoon before but this won't be the last time. it was a very relaxed atmosphere topped off by the usual great food and service.

Good most staff however fairly miserable and unapproachable- the younger ones were helpful. And 45 min wait for food. Which is a shame because it was lovely! Would still come back but fairly disappointing this time!

Overall the whole evening was nice. It was just a little too Loud for our 4 and 7 year olds. But lovely meal and we will be back.

Booked for 10 people, table wasn't quite big enough so we moved, had to spread out as the table still wasn't big enough this was the only negative, the service was amazing, the food arrived hot and fresh and very tasty, would definitely return.

Not long after we had finish our food a lady came over asking us to pass the plates over to her then starts cleaning the table with used napkins from out dinner

There was a family in the room who were very loud, children screaming we couldn't hear each other speak. We waited 1.1/2 for our food. Not impressed!. We have used the Red Lion numerous times over the years, this was the worst.

Nice welcome ,table ready and good atmosphere.took the order at the table and well cooked hot food arrived in 15 minutes
