You could argue back and forth for hours about what makes a good curry, but it’s hard to argue against longevity, meaning the Rose Valley must be pretty sure about what constitutes a good plate of South Asian food. For nearly half a century the Rose Valley has been keeping its Guildford customers happy, serving up a range of quality Indian and Bangladeshi specialties from their cosy restaurant on Chertsey Street right in the town centre. Open every day for lunch and dinner, The Rose Valley is always on hand to provide traditional South Asian delights, from the dishes found everywhere to some you’re unlikely to see again. If you’re unsure what to choose, it’s always good to follow the chef’s recommendation menu, introducing you to some beauties like a fiery lal tufan or a more mild, tamarind-based mayuuri chicken curry.
Great food. Lovely restaurant. My only criticism is that it took a long time to pay and I had to ask them to bring the machine over and one of our waiters was a bit miserable. Will definitely be going back though
Easy to make reservation for my stag party via online. Food was average and a suprised a 10% service charge added to the bill. Dont think i would go again.
