Booked easily on Quandoo. Beautiful pub especially the new thatch! Food was attractively produced and delicious - as good as home cooking and one of the best pub meals I have had in 2-3yrs!

Considering the number of people present today, the service was prompt, the food hot and well cooked. Also staff were very pleasant although very busy

Very friendly staff, not an awful lot of choice on the menu but what we did choose was very nice.
Food was very good and good value for money. Slight wait for service and bill at the end but it was very busy and everything was correct when it came. Would go back.

Warm welcome, staff were efficient but the dessert was way overpriced for what it was - brownie & ice cream / profiteroles.

Very friendly and homely atmosphere, food was excellent with very generous portions, loved our visit.
My only negative comment would be that a man, who appeared to be working in the back kitchen area but ventured to the front, was wearing ordinary clothes and had a tea-towel draped over his shoulder.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a steak and ale pie to die for. Certainly won't be leaving it so long before I visit again
