The Venue - Blackpool

The food was lovely and plenty of it. The staff were efficient and polite. A lovely evening was had by all. We would certainly go again.

Once again we had our bowling ladies lunch for ten people at the venue which was up to its usual standard of lovely food and excellent table service by the staff.

Excellent meal, could find no fault at all. Staff very friendly, efficient and polite. Had a window seat overlooking the sea. Have been to the venue many times, and have never been disappointed.

It would be a better overall experience if it was table service instead of having to go to the bar yourself. Also having to queue to order and pay right next to a table of 4 people who were eating, the table should not be there.

Excellent meal the steak was cooked to how we like our steak . The restaurant was very busy but we received our usual excellent standard of service

We booked for Sunday lunch for 7 of us, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and it was good value for money. Added to that loads of car parking and right on the prom overlooking the sea.

The venue is a beautiful place. But unfortunately the food wasn’t very good. The child’s pizza was very garlicky where as the muscles were tasteless. Not only that the lasagna tasted of nothing and the cheese and onion pie wasn’t a pie it was cheese and onion with a lid. The staff are amazing on the other hand.

Fantastic meal once again, from the service to the quality of food and great value drinks. Entertainment was good and will be visiting again soon

The bowling team consisting of ten ladies enjoyed a lovely lunch and excellent service The staff also provided extra service in providing plates forks and serviettes for the birthday cake we brought with us for two of our ladies birthdays. This was all done with a good attitude towards their customers

We have been to The Venue twice to eat and on both occasions found the restaurant to be busy but well serviced with an extensive and pleasant menu. The placement of the restaurant on the seafront enables a great view on a lovely sunny day.

Had a really good time food was beautiful,hot and tasty,the staff was very helpful, efficient full of smiles, The venue its self is clean and pleasant.Would certainly eat at the venue again.

Friendly service and excellent food. Had a lovely evening at The Venue with my family. The fish and chips were delivious. Well worth a visit. 😁

My 62 birthday party of ten was ruined when my husband removed his metal gravy boat from his plate and literally burnt his fingers. Other family members urgently requested help from staff but only one waitress helped. She brought a towel containing ice to help the burn. She later brought a burns dressing that her manager said should be used. At no point did any manager or other member of staff come over to offer support or apologies. The gravy boat was removed and a cold replacement supplied. My husband ate almost nothing on his plate. Indeed throughout kept his three fingers constantly in the iced towel. Other than the waitress apology nothing! He effectively paid for a few mouthfuls of food and three burnt fingers. All other members thoroughly enjoyed their food but we’re constantly asking on my husbands state. We have visited the Venue in Cleveleys previously on a number of occasions and have never been unhappy but I am disgusted with the lack of sympathy, support, action or recompense from any senior representative of the company.

The meal was okay, nothing special though, we felt the gammon meal was lacking extras, it was very basic for the price we paid, anyway that experience would not deter me from coming again

Helpful plentiful staff, wide and varied choice on the menu our food was excellent. Great views out to sea. Will definitely visit The Venue again.

Good food and service staff friendly food above average you would expect . The sea view from many tables enhanced our visit. Only went on the off chance but will certainly be going back for a 2nd visit.

Food was fantastic and great value for money, portion sizes are huge, drinks are reasonably priced. I would advise anyone who hasn’t been to give it a go you won’t be disappointed

It was very busy, the meal was served quickly and was up to a good standard, we’ve been many times , it never varies, good value for money.

The food is lovely, always hot and plenty, lovely views, I always feel cosy and you never feel cold. Staff are nice and at weekends at night they have groups on

Great food served by friendly staff. Slight negative: we were enjoying coffee after our dinner when all of a sudden a quiz night started with a gentleman on a microphone calling out quiz questions.

We enjoyed our meal as usual, service was good and so was the food. We like the good atmosphere at The Venue and just looking forward eating there again. There were 5 of us and all enjoyed our visit.

I took my mum here for mother’s Day. The table service is just to serve food, orders must be done via the food counter and drinks ordered separately at the bar. I ordered the seafood salad, which did not meet the description on the menu. This was sent back where additional salad items were added. I also had the garlic mushrooms for starters which tasted like mushroom soup, rather than garlic mushrooms. My mum had a lasagne which had hardly any meat in.

This place is a young persons restaurant not what we wanted very loud music no table service we ordered 3 Fish and chips and the Duck salad with hosin the fish and chips was just ok but the duck was awful and ate very ;ittle I told the waiter when we left but don t think it would make any difference wish we had gone to Marsh mill tavern will not return

Great restaurant friendly staff. Always great food and we have never had a bad meal there. Although the addition of a curry or 2 too the menu would be good

This was our first visit to The Venue we booked for a Saturday tea time and was shown our table on arrival with very friendly staff .The meal was faultless ,would highly recommend a visit .

exellent choice of menue of which the food was of a good standard cooked to a high standard . The meal was brought to the table promptly after ordering by attentive staff.

We were a party of ten ladies who all enjoyed their meal .Everybody had a different menue which was interesting as we could appreciate all the different food available.We brought a birthday cake for one of the ladies and the staff were very helpful bringing the cake to the table with extra plates and knifes

Love The Venue Food always yummy. Shows they have proper chefs! Fabulous location and always great service and staff. Good varied menu and do a large selection for vegetarians & gluten free.

The food was excellent and the service was great. in fact we were enjoying our dining experience until we asked to order deserts at 9.05 pm and were informed we couldn't order after 9 pm. We booked our table for 8.15 and arrived 10 minutes early it was also possible to book later than this on this site. We wouldn't know if we could find room for desert until we had finished our meal and at no point were we told we had to order desserts before 9 pm if we wanted any. It was a nice evening and we enjoyed the live music but I can not understand this policy on not serving a dessert after 9pm

Great food large portions and always hot they do sat nights meal and entertainment which is great.nice views looking over the beach,and a cosy feeling inside

The table was cramped for 7 of us. Food was excellent and service was good. Would recommend to friends. Wheelchair access could be better organised

First time we have been to The Venues, very impressed with Great food, great service, fantastic vegetarian menu. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely family meal again, visit the venue regular and are never dissapointed with the service of the staff, choice of the meals available and meals are always consistently good quality

As always great service, great atmosphere and great food. Each course came out quickly, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Drinks were are reasonably priced.

I love everything about the Venue. The food fantastic. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable great views of the sea. The best place in Cleveleys.

Staff helpful and friendly. Food good, portions great, one order had to be sent back as over cooked, took a while for new order to arrive but perfect when it did. Prices are great and a good, varied menu. Easy access for wheelchairs and prams.

Lovely setting, great food choice and delicious when it came. Service was excellent. There were two young children in our party of six both of whom were well catered for. Would definitely book again if in that area.

My friend and I had a fabulous afternoon tea here. We liked the way our tea was served and enjoyed the modern twist of one of the sandwiches was a wrap. Staff were all pleasant and courteous at all times and nothing was took much trouble. What an enjoyable experience . We have already booked for a festive afternoon tea and our Christmas lunch at the beginning of December. We are looking forward to what treats await us YUM YUM !!!.

Hi we come here a lot I love the Sunday roast and two of us out of four had the rost the rost potatoes was dried up the greens was cold & coliflour cheese was all dried up did not enjoy it at all very diceponted this week my hubby had the mushroom pot he found 3 mushrooms they was not nice he only can eat small meals as he as no happytite with haveing cancer we complain they offered us a sweet or coffee but we not into sweets but that was nice but £9.95 for a dinner is a lot to frew a way thankyou regards the browns

The steak was great. Good quality AND it was cooked to my requirements. My wife wanted different vegetables and they supplied them with no extra cost.

Fabulously varied menu and yummy food. Always looked after with particular table request and service is prompt and efficient. We use the venue for our family celebrations. Highly recommended !
