Lots to choose from so we Love it here & we just booked up again to go.
Great food so pleased the Buffet is back. The staff were friendly and manager said they are working to expand the dessert sections but they need to find the right contract. This will mean that eventually there will be more choice included in the buffet
Great food, lovely and comfortable surroundings and great staff... local to the area with a large car park just at the back, we also stayed for the evening entertainment.
Fantastic evening with lovely food. Everyone enjoyed themselves including the children only drawback was paying full price for a 10 year old who actually are less than the other children.
Kept asking us if we had a voucher. Really annoying. Wasn't told until we got our last drinks that we could pay £1.50 for refillable soft drinks. Hot food was nice. Wide selection although predominantly Indian cuisine but we didn't mind. Nowhere to get clean cutlery if needed and staff continually hanging around our table as though they were keeping an eye on us. Also wasn't told only 2 scoops of ice-cream- I'm sure it used to be 3 and no mention of upgrade to waffles, gelato etc just told "we don't sell the gelato" when I asked for some. Feel that the new upgraded dessert area is a waste as people are not offered the opportunity to buy the waffles and crepes. Get rid of it and bring back your dessert table from before with a selection of cakes and maybe even a chocolate fountain. At the end of the night it seemed they were closing up early as they had starting to pack away the food areas- understandable as it wasn't that busy however we were just given the bill and not asked if we were ready made us feel as though they were kicking us out and we were looking at just having a few drinks. Not really a way to end an evening with customers really.
We visited the Venue for the first time since changing their Menu to a Bar and Grill and we weren't disappointed the food was excellent both on taste and presentation we had 3 Courses and left completely full and satisfied. If I had one minor niggle it was be the lack of flooring it looked like old carpeting had been taken up and the floor left to the concrete underneath which slightly spoilt the feeling of being in a 5 star Restaurant but certainly wouldn't put us off going again
Food was lovely, especially the stir fry, but customer service is not good and at best a brisk encounter with an air of arrogance. The dining area is large and very noisy, made worse when the disco upstairs started. A constant thud thud of base, a bit like a car with a sub. It was also very cold in there, yes it was a cold night, but a jumper and scarf didn't stop the draught. We were pressured by staff wanting us to buy more drinks at the table, then advised the restaurant was closing at 10.30, 15 minutes beforehand and then they brought the bill, and the guy just stood there rubbing his hands together, like Ebeneezer Scrooge, until we told him we would pay at the till when we were ready. Not really worth the £16.95 per head plus the 4 rounds of drinks we felt we had to buy.
The venue itself was well presented clean and tidy and the staff were amazing. Very polite friendly and on hand to help. However the food was terrible. It's meant to be an all you can eat around the world buffets. If you like Indian cuisine you are onto a winner, however be ready to have your head blown off with every course and take a glass to drink the sauces out off. Everything we ate was extremely spicy including grilled pick your own meats!!! Not only was the food as I stated very spicy the other end of the spectrum was English cuisine was cold and bland. For an evening out for 2 adults and a young teen it cost over £50 that was without the pudding. Don't be tempted by the amazing dessert station anything other than 3 scoops of ice cream cost extra!!!! Sad to say me and my family won't be return I have made numerous complaints to avail and even though i am making a review it wont be taken into account because no others have. Facebook and trip advisor is full of recent bad reviews solely about their food and extortionate pricing!!! shame really because it used to be an amazing family favourite restaurant when it first opened.
Lovely decor and well laid out. The buffet had lots of choice for adults but maybe extra needed for children, such as hotdogs, sausage and mashed potato, fish fingers, fries & desserts like jelly and fruit not just ice cream. I do think that all desserts should be included in the price like other buffets such as Flavourz and not on a separate priced menu. It was our first visit as a large family group and we enjoyed ourselves and we will be returning.
Made some changes to food selections since the last time I went , I thourght it was better quality and hotter ,I really enjoyed it. The new desserts bar where you have the choice of many ice cream flavours or you can purchase a sweet from the dessert menu was very nice . After last nights meal My family and myself would definitely recommend it .
