The staff were very friendly but service was slow even though we were only ones there. Guess Wednesday lunch not a busy time. The food was very nice.

Lovely meal, good quality ingredients, lovely staff, just the right amount of attention. Perfect for an end of term wind down

Had steak pie my friends had chicken pie. There was not much I side them quite disappointed. After being served our dinner. No waitress came back to our table to see if we wanted anything else, like dessert or coffee. Didn't even get a bill we had to go up to bar and ask if we could settle our bill. A couple of my friends brought a bottle of wine they wanted to split the cost and waitess ask them how much their wine WAS. It was not at all busy when we came so dont know why service was bad. Very unimpressed. Won't return.

Service so slow waited an hour for lasagne ! Wanted more drinks but no one asked - had expressed at the beginning wanting sticky toffee pudding - when we finally got up to ask for a dessert as no one came over to us we were told they had run out! Shame as nice local pub but such a let down my friends said they wouldn’t go back - I suggested the visit today as well!!!

We had an absolutely lovely roast dinner and very friendly staff.

Lovely, quaint pub/restaurant. Atmosphere was slightly too loud. Food had delicious flavours with generous servings. Beef roast was great, although 1 slice was 50% fat. Broccoli not cooked at all.

The vegetables were a little under cooked for us And both myself & our daughter had to pick gristly lamb out of our mouths I ordered an apple crumble & custard and ended up with sticky toffee pudding. Which was nice but I did Oder apple crumble

We had a really enjoyable Sunday lunch -all the food was really tasty and well cooked. The only issue was that the portion of roast beef was on the small side and definitely smaller than our last visit.

Good table, room was cold (no heating) service was good. food as reasonable price, quality was fair. pork has a lot of fat on it and some vegetable's undercooked. after hour and a half asked to go as they wanted the table for more dinners even though has not finished drinks.

A tasty sunday roast but unfortunately we had to wait an hour for it after ordering. Starters and children’s meal served promptly. Friendly and helpful service.

We went early evening , was quiet , the food was superb and our grandchildren loved playing in the garden .
