The White Horse Ruddington

Lovely traditional Sunday lunch and alternatives. We all cleared our plates. Good value and one of our group arriving half an hour late was no problem.

Food was very good, service very attentive and polite. Would recommend to anyone. Choice in menu was varied and enough in there to choose from. A good start to the weekend

The staff could not have done more to help us. They were attentive, professional, friendly and welcoming. One meal was very cool when it arrived but the staff very quickly sorted it. Food was great, lovely atmosphere, probably my favourite place to eat in the village. I would like to ask for a few more veggie options on the menu but other than that, I can't fault the White Horse!!! Fab night !!!!

Excellent food, would highly recommend the Sunday lunch. I ordered the triple roast which came with veg roasties and a yorkie accompanied by a nice red wine. The sticky toffee pudding was also great.

Lovely meal and good service. I'm a vegetarian and usually only get one choice. But I had a choice of 3 presentation was lovely and good quality at a reasonable price

The food was excellent and the service was also very good. We had asked for table where we could watch the football and they had set it all up as asked for.

Service was not great. Slow to take the dessert order, only for us to wait yet another 45 minutes.........we finally complained only to be told that the kitchen hadn't received the order. Waitress graciously said we wouldn't be charged for dessert - well d'uh!?

Brilliant as usual. Fantastic food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A really lovely meal with great service from the staff. There was a good selection of different dishes on the menu and plenty of beer and wine at the bar! Good value.

Service good Starter good Main course included black pudding that was inedible, when mentioned to the waitress the reaction was "oh is it " Would have liked an apology

Lovely food, nice atmosphere and great service. We have a really lovely afternoon. Our first visit, but not our last! Good value for money too.

Me and my friend went to a wedding service round the corner then ate lunch here. It was beautiful and very reasonable . Would go again

Very good pub lunch, sandwiches were impressive and great value. Early sitting very much appreciated with toddler. Our daughters food came out earlier as requested. We came back as the first meal we had was so good. Definitely recommend

Lovely lunch with a varied menu to choose from. My smoked haddock with curry risotto was scrumptious and when my sister asked for a different type of cheese on her cheese burger, it was no problem at all! Our waitress, Grace, was friendly and attentive.

A little gem hidden in Ruddington you wont be disappointed excellent food.make sure you book a table for friday and saturday night.have a great evening

we go for Sunday lunch most weeks to a different location and we rate the White Horse Ruddington to be up amongst the best we have been to. Thanks to them for a very nice meal.

Food is really good - highly recommend the burger, as it is homemade and cooked perfectly. They will always swap food choices if you fancy different options. Always a nice atmosphere 😃

Dessert was late and microwaved so it wasn't nice and crunchy. mains and starter were okay but not exceptionally well. Generally unsatisfied with the experience

Great food, friendly service, great price. What's not to like? The winter sale prices are fantastic value for money - my wife and I had 2 lovely courses and drinks all for £22!

My friend asked that if she ordered belly pork it would be crisp was told it would be and unfortunately it was not. Other than that all very good. Sea bass very good.

Great food and service made for a lovely birthday dinner. Drinks and food all reasonably priced and staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone wanting just that bit more than general pub grub

5 of us ate here for lunch, the food was excellent, would recommend doing the Beef and guiness pie, lovely cosy surroundings and the staff were warm and friendly.

We had fish and chips - the fish was almost whale sized and the batter was the crispiest ever. The coffee was excellent, full of flavour but no bitterness. Well done White Horse!

Good menu choices for lunch, would prefer more fish options. Good service and choice of drinks. Good disabled access. Will recommend to family and friends.
