Serving authentic Sichuan cuisine just steps from Shepherd’s Bush Market tube station, Tian Fu is located on the corner of Bulwer Street and Wood Lane. Found in a busy area, Tian Fu is ideal for Londoners on the go, and is also a major player in the city’s Chinese culinary scene. Unabashedly authentic, Tian Fu serves fiery dishes that draw in the city’s biggest spice lovers. A Shepherd’s Bush legend, the cuisine at Tian Fu is not to be missed.
Okay food, large seating room and authentic look to the deco
The food is good as usual and staff are friendly. They’re very busy in the evening tho so the waiting time is a bit long
Very authentic Szechuanese food packed with spice! Really appetising dishes flavoured with numbing peppercorns. Reasonable pricing and good hygiene. Even has air conditioning which is perfect for eating sweat inducing chilli dishes in the summer
Swing by Tian Fu on any given day and you’ll find a mix of Chinese locals, hungry tourists, and Asian-food enthusiasts filling up the restaurant’s rather large premises. Found just near Westfield Shopping Centre, Tian Fu on the corner of Wood Lane and Bulwer Street is a popular choice with exhausted shoppers looking to refuel after a day of retail therapy. The restaurant offers an array of dim sum, soups, salads, mains, and even some European favourites, perfect options for the less-adventurous diners you might have tag along.
If you want to go truly authentic, you’ll want to take a look at the Tian Fu house specials. Choose from spicy delicacies like sizzling spicy frogs legs, dry-fried boneless chicken with chilli and sesame, stir-fried pork belly with green chilli or spicy aromatic chicken. Fans of exotic cuisine are encouraged to go for the loofah with mushroom – that’s right, cooked sponge – or the steamed sea bass including bones and head, cooked with spring onion and ginger. If it’s too hard to decide, we recommend taking one of the Tian Fu mini sets, which allows you to mix and match a few of the restaurant’s best dishes, rather than choosing only one. Think you can take the heat? Make a reservation before venturing out to this beloved Shepherd’s Bush Chinese restaurant.
