Amazing steak, with excellent sides to accompany. Staff were attentive, friendly and the service was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Superb night celebrating my wife’s birthday, will definitely return.

Steak was one of the best we’ve had around the area. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Restaurant was laid out very well, with plenty of room to move around.

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Tomahawk Steakhouse. The service was quick, a lovely thick slice of medium cooked beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, stuffing and lots of gravy. It came with some delicious red cabbage, cauliflower cheese and green beans with broccoli. The only reason for deducting 1 point was the vegetables were a little too undercooked for us, but that is just personal taste. We decided to have dessert, and they were very accommodating to my husband's request for sauce on his ice cream. I had creme brûlée with a delectable warm shortbread. The meal was rounded off with a coffee and a glass of port. A lovely way to spend a Sunday, we would recommend you try it.

Weve just returned from Sunday lunch at the Tomohawk Steakhouse and it was fantastic. We have been trying to book for a few weeks now but always left it a little late and missed out. We were greeted and seated immediately upon our arrival and within 5 mins had drinks and menus in front of us. After ordering our lunch we had only a short wait until it was served, 2 beef and 1 pork Sunday lunch with a nice selection of vegetables. This isnt a fill your boots eating place more a top quality food cooked and served beautifully. The waiting staff all seem to drift about keeping everything flowing smoothly without any drama or confusion at all. The food was truly delicious and presented perfectly. The restaurant was quite busy but it was just peaceful and a really pleasant place to eat we will definitely be returning to try an evening meal very shortly.

Must be the nicest steak we've ever had, cooked to perfection. We had the 3 course early bird special, what a bargain, we ate every little bit and our bellies were fit to burst. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was served quickly though it wasn't extremely busy but busy enough for a pleasant atmosphere. We liked the fact the tables weren't close together and loved the Himalayan salt candle holders. Cocktails were very good value as they were full strength and not like a lot of places that only put a dash of this and a dash of that in them. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying the main menu.

We booked a table and a room for Friday night to celebrate my birthday. I honestly couldn't fault anything if I tried. The service was attentive without being intrusive at both dinner and breakfast. The bar staff were great (gorgeous cocktails) and the food was just outstanding. We had the sharing platter of steaks cooked to a perfect medium rare and enjoyed every bite. Our room was lovely and it was great not to have to drive home or worry about sorting a taxi. Breakfast was also outstanding (we both had the Yorkshire breakfast and numerous cups of tea). We'll definitely be coming back soon, thanks so much for a really special birthday stay :-)

Third visit in four weeks and enjoyed just as much and will return. Change of menu mainly with the starters and deserts. More choice available. We went for the Camembert to share. Delicious but only complaint from three visits is that it was to share but only had one slice of toasted ciabatta to share. Needed at least double, slice each as a minimum or the starter is for one only. I had the porterhouse with the prawns added and my wife had the fillet. These were worth the visit alone. Wife was a little disappointed that the mash and gravy was no longer on the menu as a side. Deserts done along with wine and Peroni. Can't wait to go again. Highly recommended and worth the little bit extra.

Visited this place expecting great things. An establishment that purports to specialise in steaks ought to be right up there with the best. Sadly, it just isn't. I ordered the T-bone steak at £40. It was 36oz. I asked for it medium rare but it came medium. As you will know, a T-bone is two cuts together. One side fillet and the other sirloin. But, the quality of this particular steak meant I couldn't tell which was which. It all tasted like a poor sirloin. The steak was also poorly trimmed and had excessive amounts of inedible fat. The T-bone came with a BBQ sauce on it which I hadn't ordered. But, is paid £3 for peppercorn sauce which of course I no longer needed. The rest of our party ordered flat iron steaks but we were later told they'd ran out. So we had sirloin as alternatives. My wife left half of her steak as it was over cooked and not great quality. So, conclusion. If you want a great steak then there are many better places to get one. The place itself is really nice but they really need to up their game I do travel extensively so perhaps I'm spoiled.
