steak itself was lovely but sides were a let down salad was not fresh and the hash brown tasted of deep fried fat Great customer customer service

The meal was excellent but staff forgot a drinks order.

Unreadable menus but kindly and nice waiters help a lot. Steak was nothing special but good. Sides dishes ridiculous. Disastrous cleaning conditions but again, nothing special or quite usual in the UK. Value for the money okay. Service 10% included as default in the bill.

The food and service was fantastic only slight hitch was the bill was brought to us as the plates were being taken away. Never the less I would certainly recommend going to anyone.

Spot on, had the early bird offer and upgraded to the wagu steak, food was great and we all really enjoyed it. Only down side was the £8.25 for a glass of house red wine that seems more than a bit excessive.

Good food but did take over an hour from our booking time to get our food and noticed not a single table had food for quite a period of time?

Food was absolutely delicious and very generous portions. It is quite pricey so it would def be for special meals out but we would visit again .

Great value for money and delicious. We hit on lucky with restaurant week in Newcastle so hot three courses for £15, and the cocktails were 2 for £10. Steak was delicious and cooked to perfection!

Went during restaurant week as it was a good chance to try Tomahawk. Food was great and service was good and it was nice to see the restaurant busy. Only let down was the incessant drone of awful monotone music

Went for restaurant week and was an absolute bargain. Brilliant food and excellent service

Food was average, starter was nice but main course of sirloin steak was very fatty and poorly cooked. Accompanied by a limp salad and very rich peppercorn sauce which had strange flavour. Dessert of Banoffee Pie, wasnt what you think, it was a tart which was hard and contents not set. As for service, waited 15mins for someone to take our drinks order and when we finished our meal, we sat for well over 10mins and had to flag someone down for the bill. For the price, it's not worth it. Miller and carters is far better.

Had Sunday lunch, best ever.Well worth a trip into town.

Staff were polite and the steak was lovely. But I don’t believe I got value for money if I compare the same meal to a similar restaurant. Even though the staff were polite there was no conversation made and the restaurant was entirely too hot, I am aware of the season however I was colder on the walk to the restaurant. I’m pretty sure myself and my friend looked as uncomfortable as we felt yet were not asked about it at all. Steak was nice but won’t be going back.

Very nice fixed price lunch, excellent value for money, lovely place and food very good could not fault, a a special mention to the staff how looked after our table, did not get there names gut lovely pleasant girl greeted us and showed us to our table to be looked after by a ralvsweet Irish girl and to lads who were just really nice, thanks again for a lovely afternoon, Clive and shami

There were a couple of minor irritations. The sourdough bread which accompanied the soup was stale and when I complained I was told ‘this is sourdough bread and that is what it’s supposed to be like’. I was brought a ‘replacement’ which had been warmed up that they said was brought from a fresher loaf ..... We both ordered Eton Mess. Mine had five pieces of pineapple and my husband only had one piece in his and the rest was all cream and a few small pieces of meringue. This was included in the Restaurant Week price but had I paid extra for it I would have been very annoyed.

Lovely food & service excellent. Would definitely recommend & return 😊
