First time there but unless you can do something about your kitchen staff banging dirty pots and dishes while trying to have a conversation I am afraid we won’t be back which is a pity because everything else was spot on

3 friend catching up over a tasty 2 course menu. Soft drinks, as driving. Efficient and pleasant staff. This time all had same food ... minestrone followed by chicken milanese with pene carbonara pasta. Delish.

Steak lovely but fish bland not served in batter as menu advised. Chicken gougons tasteless and full of gristle. Salad consisted of lettuce no onion no tomatoe no salad dressing. For a restaurant that makes their own thus is shameful

Much busier than usual, but seated right away. Food excellent and service even better than usual, despite high number of customers.

Delicious meal as usual with much quicker service than my last visit. Must mention the waiting staff in particular- they were so polite and attentive.

Good food that arrived quickly. However, there wasn't much choice on the lunch menu, so we had to opt for the more expensive main menu.

Pasta was very salty. Very overpowered by salt which is a shame. Lovely big restaurant but wasn’t impressed with the food for first impressions. Wouldn’t rush to come back as I travelled a long distance.

Usually great but mixed this time. My fiancé and I booked weeks in advance for 8 o’clock on Valentine’s Day, arrived at 7:58 and had to wait 10 minutes for a table. We were brought to the smallest table in the restaurant, along a railing at one side which meant my elbow hit off it every time I wanted a drink. I asked to be moved to a booth as that’s what I requested when I booked and the table was awful. Someone organised it and said we’d be moved shortly. We then watched a family leave a booth near us, only for the couple who CAME IN AFTER US to be sat there. The waitress came back and explained the booth had been taken (clearly, but why?) and we’d have to wait longer. Another party left a different booth soon after and we were eventually moved there by an older senior staff member who’s attitude was shocking. We watched him tell a younger waiter who was placing our cutlery down in the booth to move away in an aggressive way before taking over, urging the young waiter to blurt out “sorry!” before he scurried off to appease him. He was very cold and abrupt, clearly annoyed at having to wait tables because it was busy. He asked to take a drink order, I was perplexed as I had ordered drinks already at the first table, but before I could even explain that he sighed and said something along the lines of “if you need more time I can come back” in a very dismissive tone. I explained we’d ordered already and he strolled off. No acknowledgement or even a smile, he just walked off like he couldn’t be bothered with us (maybe because we were so bold as to politely request a nicer table). After dealing with him it picked up a bit. Our starters were nice, but the main was very average. I had chicken and it had clearly been refired, perhaps after being made earlier by mistake. I didn’t complain after making a fuss about the table but I won’t be back for a while. Feel sorry for the young members of staff who are subjected to that kind of treatment.

Great food as usual. Restaurant was particularly busy (5.30 Sunday) so the service was rather slow. I don’t mind that as I know the food is freshly prepared but not so good for children waiting to eat especially since a starter wasn’t ordered for them. Apology from staff who realised they were slow bringing main courses out and childrens’ deserts not charged for. Can’t really ask for any more than that.

Tried the new Rib of Beef (for 2) and it was absolutely outstanding. On the downside. The beef was so good and filling that I wasn’t able to follow it up with my usual delicious Strawberry Pavlova Sundae!😔 Superb!😃😃😃😄😄

Seated right away despite being early. Friendly and efficient service as usual. Minestrone with home made bread for starters was excellent. I had Fritto Misto as main course for first time (only as starter before). Was not disappointed. Companion had Salsa Della Casa Penne. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Once again our meal at Guidi's was fantastic! My only problem is deciding what I want because there is so much choice and I love everything I've ever tried in here. The atmosphere and service was excellent as always. We will be back!

Food was tasty and good value, servers where pleasant but service itself was slow, 10mins from ordering 2 drinks to arriving at table, this happened twice, so lost a star for speed, or lack of it, of service.

We've been before and will certainly be back. The visit is worth it for the garlic bread alone! The service was very good and the food was even better. Reasonably priced too.
