Trattoria Guidi

Waiting time was appalling. we waited 1hr and 20 minutes between starter and main course. The drinks order was COMPLETE DISASTER ! we ordered 2 cocktails 2 coke, 30 minutes past, then I asked about the cocktails. SORRY WE STOPPED MAKING COCKTAIL 1 HR AGO.... Ok! i'll have a wine and shandy. 5 minutes pass, another waiters, you can now have cocktails if you like, the person that makes them is back. I mean seriously you just couldn't make this up. The food was excellent but service was a bit hectic. Hugh

It was a smallish portion good value for money. It was quite noisy due to being very busy. We would certainly go again and recommend it . Very good service

Food was good but not excelkent. Service was shocking from start to finish. No apologies for length of time we had to wait. Had to ask for our drinks three times. Heard such good reviews but our experience was disappointing.

Excellent service, they were tripping over each other to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was amazing, as always, and good portion sizes. Even came home with half a pizza our son couldn't finish! Reasonably priced too, not cheap but not overly expensive, and worth the money. We recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The small tables with iron wrought legs are not ideal for wheelchair users. However the staff and food more than made up for that. Thank you

The food was okay, spicy chicken wings had zero spice however. Order 2 black coffees with cream and was charged 45p for each dash of cream which is a joke when you’ve spent over £110. Put a sour taste at the end of what was a reasonable meal. Won’t rush back though. Service was excellent

Salsa da Casa tagliatelle delicious. Companion had pollo Milanese, excellent too. Minestrone for starters. Delicious with freshly baked bread, Busy place. Efficient service. Also, pre-theatre available.

Great meal brilliant service even though it was busy. Waitress even put my left overs in a doggy bag to take home as I was stuffed

Fabulous meal! Excellent service. Staff were very attentive. Lovely surroundings and very clean too. I would definitely go back to Guidi’s in Coatbridge. Lovely atmosphere too.

Very quick service, all staff were very attentive. I asked for a cake and candle for a birthday and staff were happy to arrange thid for me. Food amazing as always!

Service was a bit slow, although restaurant wasn’t busy. Had to ask a few times to get drinks and bill. Food nice but could be warmer. Not as tasty as usual. Staff pleasant

The service was fast, the food was quite good and the restaurant was busy. Would recommend. The only downfall was we ordered a garlic bread pizza to come with our mains and it came out 10 minutes later. By this point we were nearly finished.

As always the food was lovely and the staff very friendly. One of our favourite restaurants to visit, we have never had a bad meal here.

2 course lunch was lovely and well worth the money. One member of party ordered from one course lunch menu and ordered the prawn dish. Although lovely, this was more like a starter and she left feeling hungry.

Service and food were excellent. My wife and daughter are coeliac and had the best gluten free pizzas they have ever had. The other food was also very good.

The fish was overcooked (hard) and the chips also (hard). The last time I was in for a meal all was fine, this time I was very disappointed regarding my meal.

It's a 5.5 score, really. Excellent food with attentive service. Prices of dishes very reasonable for portion sizes. Would recommend and definitely return in the future.

First time customer and must say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, staff were very pleasant and helpful and food was delicious, not over priced will definitely be back for more, thank you.

Have been coming here for as long as I can remember and the service is always first class and the food is always fantastic. I would highly recommend Trattoria Guidi for any occasion but who needs an excuse when the food is so good :)

Not my first visit and certainly won’t be my last. Service and food excellent. Steak was cooked to my liking and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and looked after you.

Great place & food, go at least once a Month, best Italian in the area, when busy parking can be a problem but has never hindered us.

This is always a great venue for a night out, the food is good and the staff are always helpful. Will be back again soon.

A family birthday visit to this restaurant turned out to be a complete disaster. We initially received our starters to our satisfaction, then everything went downhill drastically. The first main meal of five was brought out and was practically eaten before a second was brought out. The second meal was not as ordered. That left three family members waiting for their meals. After what seemed to be an eternity I requested a word with the manager. Said manager was very embarrassed and unable to offer a valid explanation for the mess he found himself in. He went away and surely returned to in form us there would be no charge for the meals. On leaving the restaurant the management were nowhere to be seen, in other words they had totally washed their hands of us. We had eaten her once in the past and found the restaurant to be of a very high standard, hence our visit to celebrate my wife's birthday. A disastrous sequence of events included poor abysmally slow service, poor quality food and the fact that the birthday was totally ruined ensured we will never set foot in this establishment again.

Lovely meal as usual. Deserts took a bit long to come out.

First time at guidis and really enjoyed our meal. Got seated nonoroblem, took about 15mins after we had the menu tongr t our order given, but after after everything was fine. Meal was lovely, nice wine. Will defanetly come back.

Love Guidis but the table all crammed in for valentines date wasn’t enjoyable and the service was slower thank usual, food was nice though .

Great restaurant, staff and food is amazing. Food is always great quality and drinks are always brought to the table promptly. Would recommend highly to everyone.

Helpful staff, good service, well cooked and presented dishes. Although the restaurant was busy they easily accommodated party of six. Car parking can be tricky ta busy times.

Lovely food and quick service, although very very busy to the point of feeling a little tight for space when walking to the toilet etc. It was Valentine’s Day though so I presume it’s one of the busiest days of the year! Will definitely be back ☺️

Again great surroundings, great food and atmosphere, brilliant as always.
