Trattoria Guidi

It is always an enjoyable experience having a meal at Guidi's. We felt the lunch menu gave us less choice than previously. The food arrived quickly and the staff were very attentive, perhaps too attentive!

Always outstanding. We visit regularly and the service and food is always to the highest standard. Great atmosphere with the open kitchen and an army of servers ready and waiting.

We had the 2 course lunch which is good value although think a wider choice would be better. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant.

we have been here many times before but we all think they are cutting portion size down. food was great as usual tho and will definitely be back again.

guidis is my favorite place ever, staff are always lovely and attentive and food was amazing as always and portion sizes are great, never disappointed when i visit

Delivered wrong food with no sauce then told it would take ages by the waiter to produce the correct dish and as we had all been given our food chose to take it. Overall the service was good , food was average just a little disappointing the waitress struggled with the technology that she was using to order our food.

We are very regular customers at Guidi’s and tonight was a particularly good experience. Brilliant food and service. We’ll probably be back within the week!

I was really disappointed as I had heard so many good reviews of this place and had been recommended by a friend who visited regular - will try again as I am hoping we got them on a bad night!

As usual, food was outstanding. It would have been a bonus to receive all of the components of our main course at the same time, no t half way through eating it. However, there are issues with the Servers. Too young and not attentive. This unfortunately is becoming the norm at Guidi’s and needs to be addressed.

We were a party of 5 on busy night. Restaurant has a good lay-out and atmosphere when busy. Plenty of floor staff moving smartly around, frequently communicating with each other but lighter in terms of customer eye contact and awareness of customer need. We experienced relatively long waits between courses and had to request updates on our mains and follow up drinks order. Starters were good, mains apart from the Chicken, were somewhat disappointing

Lovely from start to end. Great atmosphere , lovely waiting staff. Couldn’t have been nicer and the food was amazing - almost too hard to choose from great menu.

This restaurant serves great ,genuine Italian Style cooking along with a truly exceptional wine list at very reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and pleasant and show a great knowledge of both the food and wine that they serve. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food and wine.

Arrived before time but were shown straight to our table, waiters were very attentive and the food was excellent. Just enough waiting time between courses that you didn't feel you were being rushed. Will go again definitely.

Went for lunch, Saturday lunchtime. Ordered off the 2 course lunch menu. Service was quick and very good and food was lovely as always. Not too busy but always a good atmosphere.

Love this restaurant. Perfect steak and peppercorn sauce is amazing! Staff are always help full too. Always a great atmosphere when you are in. Would highly reccommend

good wide choice of food to suit all tastes, excellent service, pleasant atmosphere only criticism meal served on a cold plate which means for non quick eaters food went cold but apart from this very enjoyable.

Visited early Saturday evening as a family of 4. We were seated quickly and drinks order/food order taken promptly. Kids were impatient waiting for their main courses. However I think the time between courses was more than reasonable for a busy Saturday night. The food was excellent and everyone was delighted with their choices. Sweets were fab! The total bill was very reasonable although we did only have soft drinks. I haven't been for a long time despite being a regular attender for many, many years in the past. Overall we were delighted with our meal at Guidis and will be returning at the end of the month for a birthday celebration. I think we have rediscovered a really lovely place to eat in our local area.

We visited for our son's birthday. Had a lovely 2 course lunch for a very reasonable price. Lovely atmosphere and will return in the near future.

The good was very good and inexpensive, the staff were couteous and very pleasant staff. The venue is very nice. Overall a good experience. Happy to recommend for lunch time.

Good fab but main courses were only a bit bigger than starter portions. Normally I can't finish my main course but ate it all and could have ate it again. My friends said the same. Been coming to Guidis for over 15 years and will think twice about returning. Disappointed.

A lovely meal in a lovely restaurant with excellent service. The cost was fair, would have given full marks if price was a little lower.

Was ok however service slow. We had to wait even though we had booked a table. Meal ok bit pricey would only go on special occassions

We usually love this place. But, yesterday my niece found a hair in her chips. And was only offered a new meal (which was no good as everyone else had finished theirs) no discount or any other offer. Very disappointed with the service we received.

Best Italian in the area by far, and reasonably priced.. only thing that could be improved is a few more vegetarian options. Pizzas are amazing tho

Very extensive selection of food available. I really enjoy starters but I find that A main course is normally too much food after a starter. I really liked that they had half pasta portions available for mains. Delicious dishes and helpful staff.

I thought the restaurant was excellent value for money, particularly on the pre theatre menu. Good food and good service. Would definitely recommend and will be back
