Small plates and splendid cocktails are the name of the game at Two Hundred Rye Lane London. Perched right on Rye Lane in Nunhead, this swanky little spot serves up small plates of European and British grub with great results. Whether you fancy some fried chicken wings in a homemade smoky sauce with spring onion and red chilli; a sourdough bun filled with pulled beef brisket that has been marinating and slow-cooking for over 24 hours or avocado wontons with jalapenos spring onion and tabasco all wrapped up in crispy filo pastry – the menu at Two Hundred Rye Lane will certainly hit the spot. Our advice? Leave room for dessert because with dishes like raspberry, white chocolate brownies and salted caramel espresso martinis you won’t want to miss out!
Great cocktails. We had an aperol sour and peckham rye whisky. We liked some of the small plates more than others - blue cheese salad was great and I liked the mozzarella balls arancini. Nice atmosphere.
