We loved everything about this restsurant food, decor, drinks & staff
Miss eating in their terrace! Great food, specially the starters. Excellent service
Nice simple food, lovely terrace! Wish I was there now!
Delicious food and pleasant venue. Price was reasonable for the food.
The small bites are really small and not worth the money however, the mains are amazing and worth the money - especially the soups and the rice dishes. Service was great and the place was aesthetically pleasing
The Food was really delicious but sadly the service was very slow and the communication of the staff was poor which let the dining experience down. Such a shame.
Great atmosphere and equally great food. The staff are excellent and they cannot do enough for you - made us feel very welcome and thy were all so attentive.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely well presented food prepared to a very good standard and reasonably priced for the location. Have eaten here twice and both times were very enjoyable.
Nice setting, good food. The beef rendang could have been more spicy and hotter. The pad tai noodles was excellent and my husband was happy with his food.
Bernadetta was our waitress she made our celebration of my daughter getting into her first choice of university! She make our evening one to remember thank you!
The restaurant atmosphere and the service are very pleasant and welcoming. It is never too busy which I foun enjoyable too. The food is delicious! I had been to Umami before and will go back.
It was my birthday dinner and I had a lovely time here. The waitresses were really nice, the garden has a nice view. Food was ok, not very authentic but nice in its own way.
The food was good but the service was unheard of how slow it was. An hour to even order and receive our one course. More of a hotel lobby than actual restaurant.
Terrible food. Awful service. Pubic hair found in rice. Took 90 minutes to get main courses. Served rum instead of alcohol free gin and tonic. 0/10.
The surroundings are pleasant and relaxing. The food was wonderfully presented to us by friendly and welcoming staff, I cannot fault the quality of our meal. A great place to relax with friends.
The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and the server cared about us. The food was really good for the price. I would recommend it!
We were three persons. Not fullybooked in the restaurant. We were not recommended any food or wine. The serving were slow and we did not get any plates for our food when the food came. The staff were more busy with cleaning than serving. Cleaning should be more quietly. The waiter took for granted that we were staying in the hotel and gave us 20% discount. And what about upselling.....
Didn’t stop to eat! We had an early table; there was a very loud American making a business Skype call on a nearby table. It was incredibly intrusive. The manager refused to speak to the gentlemen. We left.
The food was good and initial service prompt. Order not taken on paper and twice the waiter had to return to recheck. However, the clearing of plates after the meal was a long time coming. Also the tube light gave the impression of a café as opposed to a nice restaurant. I think subded lighting would have helped to create a romantic ambience to complement the excellent food
I hadn’t realised this was part of the Crowne Plaza hotel. The food was ok - service incredibly slow considering hardly any diners. Surly waiting staff at beginning of meal who took order and banged drinks down on table. Forgot my side of pad Thai noodles as well. Starters tasty but only like warm. I would t return
Food was good but service was crappy.... that is a pity. We will probably not go back. No more to say really. That is about it.
Me and my family enjoyed this lovely dinner, there was fantastic service and reasonable variety on the menu. The decor and ambience was lovely. Thank you
one of my top Thai places in central London without a doubt. The service through to delivery was exceptional. I will be sure to return again in the near future.
Lovely venue, food and service, Shame it was so empty on a Saturday lunchtime. £26 tasting menu was filling and delicious- plus well priced as you get a free glass of prosecco if you have tickets to Royal Albert Hall Hall
Bleak food bleak service even more bleak wines no impression at all. On a restaurant you expect more than this. A take away would have provided more satisfaction.
Fab food, great service and great location. Booked for dinner pre show at the Royal Albert Hall. Lovely staff who were able to accommodate our dietary requests
Food tasty apart from my wife's Pad Thai which was a little bland but improved by adding some of my Singapore Curry Laksa sauce. Service was pleasant and efficient.
Difficult one to rate. Initial impressions were not good. Staff seemed disinterested and were not as efficient or attentive as they might be. However food was very good Overall the evening was enjoyable
the food was great but the service was a bit hit n miss left sitting there in between servings with half cleared tables as we watched the waiter jump between tasks
I had the Nasi Goreng which in Thailand is full of flavour and ingredients. This was nothing more than an Uncle Ben's flavoured rice! Really nothing special at all.
The food is really good. My daughter has some allergies and they adapted some dishes for her. Very friendly staff. Efficient. They were doing their best but I think the service is a bit slow because they are short in staff.
This is my second time visiting this restaurant . The food is delicious , highly recommended . A very interesting mix of flavours from different countries in the Far East. The service was average, with some waitresses being very competent and knowledgeable and others, especially the male waiters , being sloppy and uninformed. Will still return to the restaurant because of the quality of the food.
The service was good and the food was ok but not worth it for the prices. The place had very low lighting, maybe as it's inside the hotel.
Quite nice food and reasonably priced. But a bit sterile atmosphere and music not the lovely jazz advertised but boring Muzak. Starters a bit too small but mains a good size.
Good and delicious! Nice hospitality and welcoming stuff make sure we will have a great time. Even the wine was good. The food was a big pricy, but still worth it
We enjoyed the Umami Tasting Menu. Very nice food and good value for money. We had a very kind and efficient server lady from Greece
Delicious food and quick service with great pricing. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to any of my friends looking to eat in the area.
3rd visit to the restaurant and food was incredible as always, however due to Christmas parties and being busy last night the service was slow due to lack of staff as only a couple of people seemed to be working all tables. I am sure this is a one off and luckily the food is so good it was worth the wait
Very slow service even though we were the only two people in the whole restaurant, poor atmosphere, food was expensive for what was served. Disappointing experience.
Food was average. Service started off well but then became less attentive no one offered us dessert after our mains and we had to get up to ask for the bill. Best part was probably us asking to be seated in a booth.
