About Veeno Croydon

Veeno Croydon is a wine lover’s dream. Situated on George Street, right in the centre of Croydon, this popular Italian spot serves up family-produced Sicilian wines and delicious snacks by the name of spuntini. You’ll never go hungry at Veeno Croydon because no matter how many glasses of wine you manage to put away, there will always be a wide array of small bites to accompany them. We love the bruschetta with fig jam and goats’ cheese; the Milano panini with salt-dried bresaola with parmigiano, tomatoes and balsamic glaze and, of course, all the sharing boards which come piled high with cheeses and meats. Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

This place feels different for Croydon. It's very cosy and has a great atmosphere. I liked the table service and the staff were all great. The food and wine were good. We had a Grande platter and stuck to their family wines from Sicily. My only request would be for a wider selection of guest wines.

Very good platters of food, all freshly made up and good size portions, good wines. Lacking in atmosphere at lunchtime but haven't tried evenings. would be good if they varied the menu a little, not somewhere we would go every week because the food menu is limited.

Very nice service and wine. Food was nice but nothing special, we had the bruschetta platter and it seemed expensive for what it was £20. I would go back there as really convenient for the station.
