meal was delicious, staff attentative and the bill was very reasonable. We will certainly be back. Would highly recommend the garlic bread with carmalised onions and lasagne

Lovely restaurant. The food, staff and surroundings were all really good. Party of four, three of us had the pre-theatre menu which was great value with 3 courses for £15.95. Would definitely recommend.

Good excellent. I would have given 6/6 but we went in at 18.00 as Nd were given the al a carte menu. I had to ask for the present theatre menu. This was my second visit and I will return

Went to Verona on a quiet Thursday unfortunately we found that the Service was poor...waiting staff were quite rude. The food was good however and served promptly.

We had a smashing Easter lunch - very welcoming and service good. From our pre-lunch mocktails and cocktails to our coffee at end - Definitely go back.

THE MEAL WAS VERY NICE AND THE STAFF WERE VERY CONSIDERATE AND FRIENDLY. THERE WAS JUST THE RIGHT TIME BETWEEN COURSES. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

Great menu. Very good service. Minestrone soil is delicious and full of veg. Sea bass was also lovely. Having a glass of wine with the meal deal was great.

Food and service was excellent, Was reasonably priced and there was a varied menu, including a pre theatre. Slight down side is in relation to the number of ladies facilities for use.

We were at Verona on a quiet night, would have liked more buzz but nonetheless were given warm welcome, friendly efficient service, and great food, definitely going back.

The food and service was very good. Had a little wait for the table, however we were kept informed of the situation in a busy restaurant The time between courses was fine. No hint of being rushed.

We have enjoyed a few meals at this restaurant in the past. I don't know what happened this time! Service was slow, the waiter forgot to put our order in so we waited a long time for the starters. He looked exhausted & uninterested. The usual great service is why I booked this return visit. The carbonara was poor , tiny bits of ham through the spaghetti & each dish was swimming in garlic- too overpowering. My pasta al forno was ok but nothing compared to the last time we dined here.we didn't even get asked if we wanted a dessert, so we left. I have already booked Verona for next Friday , I'm thinking of cancelling but might return in the hope the restaurant is on usual form & maybe this time was a 1 off. Also I felt sorry for the couple seated next to the coat rack, waiters and diners kept bumping them & their table.

Food good, and reasonably priced. Service generally good, but spoiled a bit at the end when no one asked if we wanted desert or coffees. However nice place for an informal meal with a lively atmosphere.

Appalling service - booked table at 5:30 for a pre theatre meal for myself, my mother and my daughter. 2 adults were having starters & mains (soup & lasagne) & my daughter wanted a main & dessert. We were in restaurant for a full hour before mains arrived. We had no time for my daughters dessert as service was so slow & our show started at 7:30. Appalled that I was still charged the fixed price for a 2 course meal for her despite her dish being cheaper on the a la cartel menu. Bar area was full of dirty glasses which no one made any attempt to clear. Wish I had followed my first instinct & left restaurant as soon as we arrived. Will never return here - truly awful.

Lovely food great service will definitely be back for another chilled evening at Verona especially if we can get a booth at the window. Excellent

Great italian food with a lovely setting is topped off by great customer service by the verona staff. Favourite place in heart of glasgow brilliant.

Be very specific in describing how you wish your steak to be cooked, if that is what you are having. Other than that it was perfect.

Great food. Good service. We were the only people in the restaurant so the atmosphere was a little dead. However, it was a Monday evening so that is understandable.

I would not go back to Verona again. There was a disappointment with our drinks order, the food arrived really quickly which suggests the food was not freshly made and there was no ambience.

The food is always delicious, they never seem to cut corners. The staff are extremely friendly and wonderful and just want you to enjoy your visit.

The staff were very friendly but I was disappointed that they didn't provide the pre theatre menu just the normal one. Don't think I'd go back for that very reason. Shame.

Would recommend it lovely food and the staff are very helpful been there over 6 times and every visit I've not been disappointed and it's reasonable

I had booked the 2 for £59.95 valentines offer. We were seated at a nice booth seat and the food and a nice bottle of wine were terrific value for money. Good atmosphere helped also. I would gladly re-visit.

Excellent service, excellent food. A truly great experience. We had a fantastic meal at Verona. The waiter was very helpful, very friendly and very attentive. Food was amazing. This place was recommended to us by a friend and I would definitely recommend it to others.
