Staff were friendly and helpful table ready straight away drinks and good order taken quickly. They were short staffed but coped amazingly food was delicious couldn't fault it

Went for Sunday lunch. Not particularly busy. Ordered 5 lunches. 4 came and 5th one was delayed. Food wasn't up to scratch. Potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were burnt, mashed potato was way too runny. Vegetables were cooked nicely though not overdone. Desserts were rather bland, advertised as homemade chocolate fudge cake, clearly not homemade and near tasteless. Shame as we love coming here for other food, we were expecting a lot more.

The 3 course lunch special is Exceptional value for money. Nice intimate setting. Perfect for a special occasion.

Draught from front door. Toilet would not flush. Food was good as were drinks and staff.
