There is always a spot in the hearts of the British public for Indian food, and with over 10,000 curry houses around the nation, there is certainly a huge range of options from which they can choose. The North West is home to some of the finest Indian restaurants in the country, and many of them are found around Manchester and the surrounding towns. In Blackburn town centre, they are not short of places to get your curry fix – and close to the top of the list of local favourites is Waheed’s Buffet & Banqueting on Randal Street. They’re open from 5pm each day, and can be easily accessed via Blackburn railway station and Barbara Castle Way, and when you make your appearance, you’ll be met with an Indian menu that covers all the bases. Food was not fresh it was cold and extremely spicy the cake was very dry! Cutlery and plates were dirty!!! Booked table for 7 people but the table we were given was for a table of 6 so we were all squashed onto the table! Overall very disappointing experience.
