London has a new favourite Lebanese restaurant, and believe it or not, it’s located in the suburbs. Word spreads quickly amongst hungry foodies, and the secret is out that some of the best Lebanese cuisine in the city can be found at Warda in Southgate. With dishes freshly prepared by the renowned Lebanese chef Youssef Harb, you’re in for a real treat at this Lebanese eatery on The Broadway, where the beautiful atmosphere and the fine cuisine is certain to impress.
Whether you’re looking to go on a romantic date with that special someone, or perhaps you just feel like sharing a plate of hummus with friends, Warda provides the perfect setting alongside extraordinary flavours. Come in, sit down, and let the friendly staff answer any questions you might have. Don’t skip over the wine and cocktail menu, the Rose Martini is absolutely out of this world! Located on The Broadway in London’s Southgate, this Lebanese eatery provides amazing food at a great value that you simply have to experience to believe!
Although Warda’s chic elegance makes it a great destination for a dinner date, it offers a surprisingly affordable lunch menu that allows you to treat yourself, even during your work break. All of the mezze (Lebanese small plates) are made with the freshest ingredients, all prepared from scratch. If visiting with your sweetheart, perhaps the best option would be the Dinner for Two, which allows you and your partner to enjoy a selection of 6 different mezze in addition to mixed grill skewers with rice and a baklava dessert. No matter where you live in London, a trip to Southgate is well worth your time for this fantastic Lebanese restaurant.
We had a wonderful Lebanese meal so kindly hosted by the owner and his daughter. It was a thoroughly enjoyable night. It is a restaurant we returned to after a good night there in December for a friend’s birthday. Highly recommended.
One of the best Lebanese restaurants in North London. The food was well prepared and served very quickly and the was service excellent. Much appreciated!
Lovely authentic food and excellent service. Went there to celebrate my friends bday and had a great time. Very reasonably priced for what you get and left there stuffed.
Lovely restaurant. Great food, friendly staff. Lots of choice, and any questions we had were answered well. Decor is lovely. It was quiet, being Sunday lunchtime. Hope to go back one evening.
Delicious! The food at Warda was perfectly seasoned & delicious. The staff were friendly enough & we got our food in a timely manner. My only reservation about Warda was ordering falafel by the piece, which seemed very odd to me. At 1.30-something each, this was also strangely expensive to get a good portion. I probably would return.
We visited Warda with some friends. Staff were very friendly and efficient and didn't rush us to leave. The food was good overall. We ordered a selection of starters, which were lovely, and I ordered the five-spiced lamb as the main course. The lamb was tender and delicious but the sauce could have been more flavoursome, it was a bit bland for me. I felt the restaurant was quite pricey for what we had but, overall, it was a nice meal.
We visited on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was full. There was a good atmosphere but it was very noisy which made it difficult to talk and be heard. The service was very slow indeed. We'd visited before on a less busy evening and the experience was much better. There are better local resturants locally serving higher quality and more plentiful food at more reasonable prices. At almost £30 a head we are very unlikely to visit Warda again especially on a Saturday evening !
It was our first time to eat at Warda, the service was excellent and food was fantastic. Highly recommended restaurant and will be going back soon.
First time here and we loved it! Chicken was marinated to perfection and the mese was fresh and delicious. Can highly recommend the Lebanese red wine - very smooth. Not the cheapest but very good all round. We will be back.
Food was good but not great, belly dancing was entertaining but did not like the way she would try to force you to dance even though you have said no twice and trying to eat your food. Other than that atmosphere is very nice and staff are friendly.
