Indian dining in Sunderland does not get more elegant than Yuvraaj Restaurant. That, friends, is fact. We’ll start with the setting. You’ll find Yuvraaj set inside the converted rooms of a Victorian townhouse on Douro Terrace in the heart of city, towards Ashbrooke and just bordering Mowbray Park. Next is the name. Yuvraaj means Indian prince, hence every diner is treated like royalty with immaculate service. Last, but certainly, so far from being least, the food at Yuvraaj Restaurant is of an exceptionally high standard, blending fine Indian flavours with influence from Bangladesh. Reserve a table. You’re going to love it.

It’s the best Restaurant in town . No arguments . We visit regularly as we love this place so much. The place, the food and the staff are all top notch .
This restaurant is very, very good on all fronts. Food, service and price! All staff genuinely want you to have a good night, and make you feel welcome. It is so good, we plan to go once a week. I would recommend as one of the best, if not the best in our area.
