Now we have Neymar, before we had Kaka and Ronaldinho, before that Ronaldo and Rivaldo, and before them, the likes of Pele, Garrincha, Jairzinho and, of course, Zico. Zico’s Brazilian, as are the others, and at Zico’s Brazilian, a restaurant in Edinburgh’s Haymarket that is doing for food what the aforementioned names did for its football. They offer an authentic churrascaria, a uniquely Brazilian take on carnivorous cuisine, with an ever-rotating selection of all-you-can-eat meat brought to your table until you can take no more. Waiters come back time and again, cutting fresh slices from skewers, and there is also a salad bar packed with other Brazilian favourites and lighter options. Situated conveniently by Haymarket station, the Usher Hall and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Haymarket Terrace, they are easy to get to: easier than Rio, for sure, so book a table and head on over.
Great food, good service, great value. I would recommmend this place. I've been on four separate occasions. I take my friends here, family members too. I'll be back again and again.
Very good service. Been here twice before but this was excellent & relaxed. Other times good food but rushed service. Much better, poss because quieter.
Zico's ambience was lovely, the food was fantastic with superb cuts of meat on offer and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall a great place to dine.
