Fabulous from start to finish. Greeted warmly by a very affable waitress. Order taken quickly. The menu is comprehensive and has lots of tasty options. I had the cod and chips. Absolutely delicious. The other member of staff was a friendly and efficient man.

We rebooked after another brilliant lunch dining experience. The food is brilliant, menu choice, staff and ambience. You have a choice of inside, under cover or outside over looking Corfe castle.

Sunday dinner very disappointing. Pub was empty and dinner was luke warm. However, bar staff really apologetic and keen to make amends. Provided 2 free drinks and took one meal off the bill. Didn’t quite make up for poor meal but credit to the staff for being so understanding.

Food was exceptional, service was poor, not asked if food was alright and if we wanted additional drinks or dessert. Had to ask for the bill and where to pay it. Staff need a bit of training!

We arrived an hour early for our booking - for a complicated reason - but this proves no issue to The Greyhound staff. They gave us a great table and we had an absolutely delicious meal. Service was pretty prompt even though they were busy, but the food was quite seriously beyondy expectations. We celebrated my birthday with great food, great company and in a great place.

A mixed review: both waitresses serving us were lovely, (warm, friendly, chatty) some staff behind the bar appeared to be stressed and didn’t hide it. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken because the restaurant and garden were much busier than expected on a Good Friday. We ordered garlic bread starter while waiting for the main course, which was the end small cheap baguette cut into 3 and scorched on a grill, no taste to it and very dry. The main course, chicken schnitzel and potatoes was lovely, well presented and tasty, a really good amount - too much for me to finish. Overall the experience was good but too busy for the staff to cope.
