flavours were great but portion sizes too small on the a la carte menu. Food could have been hotter. Table was too small for 5 people (we had originally reserved for 4 but added another person to the booking a week before the event). Main course dish (cod loin) served as just that - no veg with it?! Service comment given above was neither good nor bad due to accident when waiter removed a slate from the table and dropped it onto a glass of water which smashed. Waiter replaced two of the starters in case any glass had gone into them and was very apologetic - also took cost of the two starters off the bill. Would definitely go here again.

Great restaurant and food is delicious will definitely go again!

Service was good. Food okay, too much frothy stuff for me for each serving. Starter plate was cold which meant soup was cool and bowl it was served in meant the starter was difficult to eat. Probably wouldn’t go back

Fantastic food and service and considering the price it’s a real bargain. Definitely worth a visit. Get in now before the crowds. The press where here today interviewing the chef!

Great atmosphere and service. Food was nice but feel portion sizes could have been a bit more generous.

We enjoyed the evening, but felt the busy Valentines night took the edge off service level.

The only thing I didn't like is the the tables are too close to other dinners tables.

Very nice food. Service was fine until 8 pm when it got full (22 people) and then lacklustre. The location is out of the way so they definitely need to ask customers if a taxi is required.

Great food (Sunday lunch). Friendly and efficient service. Dining Room was cold but once the fire was lit much cosier. Would have been nice to arrive to the fire already warming the room as it was a very cold day.

Great food, great service. The quality of food exceeded our expectations with interesting menu options. The rating for atmosphere is a little harsh as there was only 1 other table of 6 in addition to our table of 6 at lunch service so it wasn't anyone's fault that there wasn't the buzz you might expect in a busier setting. Lovely décor and background. Will certainly visit again - thanks to everyone involved. Hx

We had a wonderful evening at 263. It was lovely to meet Charlie the chef, who is clearly passionate about his food created from locally sourced ingredients. We went for the tasting menu and couldn’t fault any of the dishes. Beautiful plates with amazing flavours. We also need to give a mention to Niko who had done an excellent job with the wine pairing. His passion and knowledge created a truly memorable evening. Can’t wait to return.
