Great food and great service. The table was ready by the time we arrived. The food was served very quickly and it was very tasty as always.

Good service, excellent food and reasonable pricing with a wide array of choices. Despite it being Valentines day, I was there as part of a work dinner and we were well catered for.

Always a pleasure to eat at the restaurant staff are great and always welcoming. Food is always fresh and the staff will ask the chef to change the heat of the meal to your liking

The service from the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food was superb, all four of us loved the dishes we picked, the Nepalese influence on some of the food was well received.

Excellent service food and ambiance. Staff are very pleasant extremely organised and most welcoming . Menu is varied and we will enjoy tasting more dishes in the near future We thoroughly recommend 8848 as a high class establishment.

Excellent the food was first class & the service was top notch, there was 12 of us and none of us were left waiting for our food or drinks, can't recommend highly enough

Great food and great service, cannot praise enough, from starters through main courses the standards were high with great flavour and quality, we had a mix of spice lovers and a couple preferring less spice, all were very happy. Overall great value and high quality, a great experience, will be back again..

Good atmoshere, splendid service and a great choice of food. Extensive menu with a variety of Nepalise, Chinese and Indian dishes, well presented at the table. Will return.

Friendly service and although a Nepalese restaurant the menu had all the Indian favourites too. Good food, not too expensive. Loved the Everest Nepalese beer!

Booked online and received confirmation. Travelled to Aberdeen to find out the restaurant was closed. Went to another restaurant and they kindly fitted us in.

Lovely restaurant. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. A sheer joy to have a meal there. I would highly recommend going there. And the lamb chops were delicious.

Food and service were truly exceptional. The chicken starter was so moist and succulent. Monkfish Balti is a dish you won’t see in every Indian restaurant, but was so tasty.

Excellent food in great surroundings. Not your typical curry house and enjoyed by all 4 of us. Fantastic garlic nan particularly and just the right amounts of food.

It was a really enjoyable experience from the minute we were greeted as we came through the door. The staff were very pleasant and friendly without being obsequious. The food was to die for! The meat was beautifully cooked and the flavours were superb! My first visit and certainly not the last.

Every time we visit, we leave with a big smile on our faces. The food is always perfect and so flavoursome, the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Don’t ever change what you’re doing guys.

Visited last night and enjoyed the usual excellent food with friendly and efficient service even though it was very busy. I would highly recommend the seafood mixed grill which was terrific.

Excellent food & good service. Just disappointed we were pressed on having a leaving time having finished our meal. I appreciate it's a busy time of the year. However, I wasn't expecting to be more or less requested to leave.

8848 is a lovely restaurant. The food is amazing. The staff are so helpful and polite. I think this is probably the best Indian / Nepalese restaurant in Aberdeen and would highly recommend.

Great food and service as always at 8848. Our server suggested how many sides we would need for our table so we didn’t order too much or too little as some dishes come with rice already.

Oh! I enjoyed myself and the dinner at 8848 restaurant. My guests said that the food was exceptionally brilliant. The customer service from Chris and his team was out of this world. It was good value for the money I spent.

Good food and friendly service. In particular the dips they served with poppadoms were lovely, probably the best I've ever tasted. Would recommend and look forward to eating here again hopefully in the near future.

I took my family here and was slightly worried because they can be fussy but it couldn’t have been more lovely! The service and food couldn’t have been better, will definitely be back.

A really good dining experience during what was clearly a busy evening in the restaurant. Nice friendly reception and relaxed service during our stay. All four diners in party really enjoyed the dishes served. Will return.

Fabulous, fresh and incredibly tasty meal. The chef made us a specially prepared vegetarian haggis pakora, just beautiful. Staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

This is my favourite restaurant in the UK. Great Nepalese food and first class service. It’s a must if you are anywhere near Aberdeen. Just head for Union St

Excellent curry night at 8848... the food was excellent, and the service great, as usual! After the popadoms, the waiter offered us a special extra starter, which was a small samosa, crafted as a vegetarian haggis, which actually rather tasty. For our mains, we both had lamb dishes and the meat was so tender. After all that food, we had only room some tea (mint and darjeeling). 8848 stocks some great teas - top rate ones!

My wife and I only managed a main course due to time constraints but both were excellent, the service was very good and the overall experience will bring us back again.

The restaurant is great! Fabulous food, friendly staff and great decor! We were there with friends. We will definitely return and would recommend it to anyone.

I've been to 8848 on numerous occasions and once again the food was excellent. However, the downside was it was a Friday evening and they were extremely busy with a private function upstairs. After ordering our meal it took a long time before being served.

Excellent service, great menu, great food and reasonable price. Nice cosy atmosphere, but discreet. Nepalese food is a great enhancement of Indian food. We have been there several times.

Excellent food and very attentive staff. Room had pleasant atmosphere without being overly noisy so able to chat comfortably. Price was very reasonable and happy to go back.

Best Indian restaurant I have ever been to the lamb chop starters are fantastic. The menus is varied and unusual not the traditional stuff bread were also fresh made

Excellent food and service only downside the toilet accessibility is tricky for someone who has mobility problems. However a very enjoyable dining experience is guaranteed.

Excellent welcome, table ready, drinks arrived within minutes, food was outstanding with new menu choices,staff very attentive and pleasant and a great evening overall. Five stars.
