Visited ADA in Antigua St have some food before a proper festival night out and was served by Kiril from Ukraine. Hope I spelt the name correctly. What a place, the food was amazing, so tasty, perfectly cooked, full of subtle flavours and my son, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were totally top notch and the service was on point, none more so than from Kiril. My only point of comment is that I was unable to leave a tip because when I went to pay tips were not permitted when paying by card which is a real shame as few people carry cash these days and I did not have any with me. This made me feel bad as I could not reward the wonderful service we received from Kiril and his colleagues. I’ll be back and will try to make sure I have cash next time but I’d like to ask the owners to change this policy and help reward their amazing staff for the great work they do as it’s hard to make living in the hospitality trade and these guys deserve the opportunity to be reward by those they look after.

From entering to end of meal, all i can say is exceptional. Extremely attentive staff but not a nuisance. The food was superb. Absolutely beautiful, fresh, hot and authentic. 5* and absolutely recommend. Food does not take long at all to come, all cooked fresh and its evident.

Pre theatre meal at Ada Turkish restaurant in Edinburgh. Food was very tasty & plenty of it. Great recommendation for wine by a lovely Ukrainian wine waiter (didn’t catch his name). All served with pleasant chat & speedy service.

Easily booked a reservation online. The service was wonderful, everyone from the wait staff to the cooks were extremely friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious. All in all a great experience.

Booked here last minute and so glad we did. Lovely friendly welcome from the chefs and the restaurant staff and a fantastic menu with lots of different options! We were really impressed with our chosen options for both starters and mains and we look forward to visiting again when next in Edinburgh.

This was our best dining experience since we arrived in the UK on the 25th of March considering quality/ price value. Unfortunately one family with no control over screaming kids disturbed the whole restaurant. ( we changed table) Personell was very friendly and knowing, food was served fast and it was well done and tasty.

The food was amazing and the staff (everyone from the chefs as you walk through the door to the waiters at your table) were so friendly and helpful. Made for a really great atmosphere and meal. The food also came so fast. Only slight thing was you can’t add a tip by card, so I had to go to a cash machine and comeback to tip them - make sure you take some cash as you will want to tip the lovely people! The lamb ribs in particular were delicious but I would recommend the mixed grill for a bit of everything.

We visited Edinburgh to attend a show at the playhouse and this venue is situated across the road and very easy to get to. We had a positive experience from ADA as we were greeted on entering the building and shown to our seat by a friendly staff member. The service was quick and staff were friendly and polite and made sure we were well looked after. Only negative point regarding staff were their eagerness to remove empty plates while some of the table were still eating. Food was served quickly and well presented and tasted good giving an authentic Turkish taste to the dishes. Good sized portions meaning everyone was full by the end but we managed to force in a Dessert which were good quality and had some quality Turkish dishes included. Price was almost exactly what we expect to pay for a family of 4 at other restaurants, so decently priced for the food received. I have had better restaurant and Turkish experiences but ADA was a pleasant eat out experience and within a stone throw from the playhouse and i would recommend try here if visiting for a show.
