Busy restaurant for a Thursday. The menu choices are very good (reminiscent of holiday). Great food, all freshly cooked on a huge BBQ grill. Fantastic atmosphere and really friendly service. Definitely recommend and will definitely return!

Fabulous food, excellent service. For the second time on a visit from France, we ate there twice in three days. To us, worth the trip from France! Can't recommend highly enough

Fantastic food with tremendous flavours. Cooked by owner Joseph and his wife, served by his daughter also. Wonderful family run business . Food, atmosphere and customer service second to none. Always a wonderful experience. Surprise birthday cake for my friend ( who had never been before) a lovely touch and she too now a fan and planning a return visit to try the next thing on menu. 👍😍

Another excellent meal with friendly service in warm and welcoming surroundings. The only problem we encountered was choosing which of the dishes to go for - they're all so good!

Food was fantastic as always, got a bit noisy as more people entered the restaurant especially as there was a larger group. Didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the evening though.

quite simply the best meal we've had in quite a while. The whole experience was faultless from the minute we walked in the door to be greeted by a very pleasant young lady (she is the daughter of the Agora's owner). The menu spoils you for choice but the staff will talk you through anything you're unfamiliar with. The seating is comfortable and the décor is subtle and modern. Our food was delicious, every dish we had was well cooked and full of flavour. We enjoyed it all so much that we even lingered for desserts which is unusual for us. All in all I cannot find anything I could complain about on this visit. We'll certainly be sure to book again the next time we're in Southsea.

A warm welcome, outstanding service, great food and wine and value for money. This was my first visit (although my two companions had been there previously) and I can honestly say Agora is now firmly on my list of 'go to' places.

A good range of choices on the dinner menu, good service and atmosphere. Only one other table occupied at 18.30 when we arrived, full when we left at 19.45. Value, quality of food and service, and a nice ambience - we will return!

Words fail me to describe how good food and service is. Falafel and babaganoush is to die for. Service is amazing. Bring a lot of change for a tip, they're absolutely worth it. Only downfall was that contactless wasn't working, so make sure you have your card on you, not just your phone. All in all, highly recommended.

Food and service excellent. Although it has been a while since we last went, the waiter remembered us and also what we ate previously, I class that as super Customer Service.

The ambience was very nice and we had a lovely bottle of wine. However, the food was a little disappointing. It was tasty but far too salty and generally 'heavy'.

Great food all round, the food is also presented very well. Anything with yoghurt is incredible. The man that served us was very friendly and attentive, he also makes you feel welcome by chatting to you frequently. The wine is also very nice, too!

Third visit to this restaraunt and once again it didnt disappoint. Small plate sharing Meze to start is delightful as you can pick the dishes you want, followed by a good selection of traditional dishes. You know its a good place when its packed on a Tuesday night! Make sure you book!

Welcoming and efficient service. Comfy tables and atmosphere. Superbly fresh and tasty food. Good for carnivores like me, but vegan son was equally well catered for. One of Southsea's best restaurants consistently over a number of years

It was a nice evening and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Food was very nice but service was a bit slow considering we were there early in the evening before it got busy. They seemed to be short staffed.

Beautiful food and friendly, fast service. Definitely worth a visit! We came for my boyfriends birthday and were very impressed. After eating in many restaurants in Cyprus & Greece, the food here compares well.

Friendly atmosphere and good quality starters, mains and wine. It was busy on a Monday night which is always a good sign, the waiters were attentive and made the place feel homely. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try Turkish food - definitely more Turkish feel than Greek, but there's nothing wrong with that. Enjoyed our evening very much.

There was a well chosen and varied menu, the staff were efficient, welcoming and helpful. This was our first time the restaurant but we certainly intend to return. The biggest difficulty was finding somewhere to park the car - there isn't much the restaurant can do about this, which is a shame.

Food was very good, service was brilliant the only issue was the restaurant is quite small so when it is full it is quite loud and we had to shout to hear each other at our table.
