A'la Turka

Great value with the lunchtime menu and lots of to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was great too. Would recommend this restaurant.

Overall the food was very tasty, enjoyable, and well presented. Unfortunately the main guest, whose birthday it was, had a lamb meal that he couldn't really eat - it was too tough! This was a shame as we had been to the restaurant a few times before with no complaint whatsoever, only praise. The staff, as always, were very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased that the background music was just that - in the background! Many other restaurants have music so loud you cannot speak to each other. The décor helps to round off a pleasant evening.

Great restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff and reasonable prices all in pleasant surroundings. My only criticism is that the background music could have been better. The same dirge went on for the whole 2 hours. It may be traditional but it doesn't represent the happy, cheery Turkish people I know.

Confusion due to recent business partner leaving. Manager fid not know of booking as it had not been sent to his email. Food was beautiful

Starter was OK but I thought mixedgrill was very salty and my wife's didn't think much of her main. Lovely people and lovely place but won't returning again

Value for money, great friendly atmosphere, extensive menu with great choices and variety. All in all an excellent experience which I would recommend. We will be back again.

Great value meal. Had some dishes we've never heard of. Starters delicious and bigger than the average starter, especially the mixed cold platter for 1 (feeds 2 easy as a starter). Mixed skewered barbequed kebab of lamb and chicken was fantastic. A bottle of wine (Sauvignon Blanc) was cheaper than most other restaurants we use, but not a quality wine, bit disappointing. No room for a dessert but sadly they couldn't do us an espresso (offered Turkish coffee instead but didn't really like it). We will be going back and will try other dishes we've never tried before. GBH

I ordered Spicy Sausage for starter, just a small plate but the sausage was absolutely delicious. For main I ordered lamb special wrap, lamb was absolutely lovely, never tasted anything like it. Would definitely go again!!

Food very, very good. Quality and taste of meat excellent. Service just right, attentive but not too intrusive. Good to see the restaurant filling up. Helped with atmosphere. Music and décor just perfect. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends. The only downfall ... not the restaurant teams fault, was an unbelievably loud, brash, table of about 10 guests and children nearby! at least they will have spent a lot of money!

Four friends had different meals and each one was lovely. Definitely going back to try other dishes with family. Great value for money and good choice of drinks available.

The food is fantastic and reasonably priced the staff are lovely can't do enough for you this won't be my last visit! Would definitely recommend!

Food was excellent as always. We had 3 birthdays in our party of 7 and the manager and his staff all made sure it was a brilliant night. They brought birthday deserts over for all 3 with candles and sang happy birthday too! Would totally recommend this place. If you want great tasting food & a good atmosphere this is definitely the pace for it.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food was absolutely beautiful ( compliments to the chefs). Drinks are reasonably priced too we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we will definitely be back again.

Food was very good , too much for us to finish. Good service, and when we didn't order a dessert, they gave us a complementary pudding which was delicious.

Load of food very large portions good value and service you have to park in the health centre car park but no problem there will defo re visit

Gorgeous food and amazing service. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. We had the hot sharer starter, followed by the mixed grill and adana. It was all very tasty.

Four of us went for lunch at A'la Turka, we had starters and main course the food was amazing ,wonderful flavours, service excellent and fab surroundings. All very reasonably priced and house wine was lovely. We have been to this restaurant about 8 times now and have never been disappointed it is excellent .

Excellent food, great value and service. Lots of choice on the menu so we'll need to go back to try some new dishes!! Would definitely recommend.
