Ormskirk has its fair share of South Asian restaurants, but Ali’s Indian Restaurant separates itself from the pack with its fresh take on cooking and its service-oriented attitude. Offering Indian specialities that are free from additives and unnatural flavours, the restaurant keeps their cuisine natural and unadulterated, just as it should be. Found along Liverpool Road North in Burscough Bridge, this popular Indian restaurant has cemented itself as one of the Burscough community's top restaurants, drawing in guests from all over Ormskirk, Skelmersdale and as far away as Southport and Preston. The menu is chock-full of fresh, delicious options including tandoori options like lamb shashlik and roshuni chicken, vegetarian specialities such as the mixed vegetable balti, and specialties such as the mango chicken, mouchak chilli and the sagwala prawns. Known to get busy, your best bet is to book ahead for Ali’s Indian Restaurant.

The food and service were excellent! Booked a table for 8 adults and asked if possible to be seated were there would be space for a pram (which they did). From walking in we were made to feel welcome! Service provided by staff was excellent and the manager was also going around talking to customers and advising on dishes which I thought was a lovely touch. Food was delicious and good sized portions. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. They even gave us a cheeky couple of deserts between us all to try! Only downside was the tables were quite small but we did order a lot of food and drinks a bit pricey. Very friendly and professional atmosphere, tasty food and we're definitely planning on returning!
We regularly visit Ali's now when we come back to visit family and friends in Burscough. So food is always fresh and tasty, large portions and if you're unsure of what to have they make great suggestions based on your taste. The service is always excellent and staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
