Food was fantastic and service was great too..definitely worth the visit

Delicious food, friendly and efficient staff, lovely atmosphere all found within a great location!

We received a warm welcome and service was attentive. The food was of high quality and was served relatively quickly. There were a lot of families with young children which meant that the noise level was higher than normal for the restaurant. I accept that families are a mainstay of the business, it was just a little overwhelming on that particular night. This will not deter us from visiting again in the future.

had a meal for 3 adults and 1 child. Food and wine were very nice, if I had a criticism it’s that we could’ve had the waiter check if we wanted anything more often, but overall it was very nice.

Extremely disappointing- took an hour and half between starters and main course - having asked for our mains twice. Waiter was pleasant enough, then charged £4. For extra chilli’s on our garlic bread (exhorbitant). So definitely won’t be back.

Was a bit disappointed with the visit last night at the restaurant. The service was very slow, and appreciate that the restaurant was busy, but there was nearly an hour wait for the main courses. Restaurant was also very loud with the music which eventually was turned down. The prawn starter was very disappointing, and the prawns were overcooked. There was no tuna or Seabass so as an alternative diners had chicken, which was extremely dry and overseas with pepper and salt. The lamb was also overcooked and not a great dining experience. We have visited previously and had much better meals. Would not be rushing to go back.

They had squeezed in too many tables. In fact, we even had to move the table so we could get in without disturbing those seated at the table behind us. We were ignored when we first arrived and the meet and greet person didn't seem at all pleased to see us. Were asked what we wanted for drinks and hadn't been given a drinks menu. It took ages for them to come to take our order and when they did we asked if they could take both drinks and food order as we knew what we wanted. The manager who was looking all around him as he took our order said he could take food order but it was very busy so it wouldn't arrive any faster! The food was good but the overall dining experience was extremely poor and the service was awful.

From the moment yesterday eve when we stepped in we were greeted warmly and cheerfully. The service was excellent,likewise the menu choice and the service. This is a first class restaurant which certainly lives up to its excellent reputation. Everything was just perfect for us ,the food,the helpful and cheerful servers , the presentation of all our chosen dishes , there was no fault or complaint from be found whatsoever ! Allegria is a wonderful establishment and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place, .We certainly intend to visit again,it's a great establishment to celebrate special occasions and well as to treat yourself at any time to lunch or evening meal. They also offer al fresco dining.

Fantastic food, great service at a great price. They can also cater for celiac's which is wonderful.

The Allegria is our go to restaurant and have done since its open, the boss always introduces himself on arrival, the are very professional, grace restaurant

As always staff were great very attentive but not in your face. Food was spot on overall a great visit and will definitely be returning.

We’d booked a table for 2 at 8pm and we were seated straight away. Within 10 mins we had ordered food and drink. They were very busy. Then sadly our experience lessened. We got our starter at about 8.30pm. They’d changed the sauce for the mussels, not really to our taste, however they were perfectly edible. The restaurant started to quieten down, however it was 9.10pm before we got our main course, after also waiting another 25 mins for a glass of wine. Again, the food was fine. We initially found the restaurant about 2 years ago and had a lovely evening, but each time we’ve gone back since we’ve enjoyed it less and less, principally due to service levels rather than food though.

The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting! Phenomenal and swift service and the food was beautiful! Highly recommended

Our food was very tasty and plentiful. The staff and service was very good. My only problem with the restaurant was that we were sat in a back room near to the kitchen and it was a very hot day. The seating areas would benefit from air-conditioning. Overall though I would not hesitate to return for another meal and recommend the restaurant to friends and family.

The food was good (although limited choice for vegetarians), big portions and tasty. However the maitre d' and staff were unfriendly and the music was far too loud. Have been before and had friendly banter with them, it just wasn't the same atmosphere this time and we didn't feel very welcome.

My mother and I always come for a meal every month when i visit It’s the best restaurant in St Annes - everyone is so friendly among the staff I had haddock it was delicious

The service and the food wasn't as good as it normally is, has the chef changed? We were waiting for quite some time before someone came to take our drinks order. I think there was a staff shortage and it was particularly busy this evening. As for the food, my seabass was burnt and my partner's sauce for his steak was lacking in taste. Bring back the previous chef as his food was top notch.

my husband and I took our grandson out for a meal, which we all thought was really nice and very well cooked and tasty . The service was good from start to finish, with very helpful and friendly waiters/waitresses. The atmosphere was great and it was nice to see so many people out enjoying themselves. Will definately visit again. Thank you
