If you’re looking for a place to eat out in Lytham – or anywhere for that matter, but why not Lytham? – then the ambience of the restaurants is always of paramount importance. What Ambiance Bar and Restaurant lack in spelling ability they more than make up in atmosphere and decor, as you might imagine from an eatery that puts that aspect of the experience in their name. Their menu isn’t far behind in their list of strengths: they specialise in Turkish and Middle Eastern delicacies, with a selection that takes in everything from mezzes and chargrilled meats to vegetarian options, fish and seafood. Take a trip to Ambiance on Henry Street – just a short walk towards the water from the main Lytham railway station – for a Turkish treat on the Fylde coast.
What a great dining experience. The food and service in this restaurant are second to none, and with a warm welcome I strongly recommend you book in advance.
Lovely restaurant, smart modern look and excellent service. We weren't rushed into making our choices, the food was served in good time & tasted fabulous. We opted to have a sharing platter & really enjoyed tasting the different types of succulent meze meats, quite a bit to get through, but couldn't leave a morsel! Will most definitely be returning soon to try some more delights.
The Fylde Coast is an awfully long way – geographically, culturally, meteorologically – from the Mediterranean, but if you make the decision to dine at Ambiance on Henry Street in Lytham, you could be forgiven for thinking that you’ve stepped across the straits and right onto the banks of the Bosphorus. Ambiance Bar and Restaurant bring – you’ve guessed it – the ambience of the Turkish coast to Lancashire, through a decadent decor and a family atmosphere, as well as a menu that exemplifies the very best in the culinary arts from Turkish, the Middle East and beyond. Let us talk you through the sort of spectacular meal that you can expect to encounter when you make your appearance along Henry Street.
When you come through the doors, you’ll be shown to your table and offered something from the superb – think cocktails and champagne – drinks selection, before beginning your meal with a mezze. That’ll be dips and Turkish bread (hummus, shakshouka, cacik yoghurt) or smoked salmon from the cold range, stuffed filo pastry, falafel, Turkish kofte meatball, seafood specials or spicy sausage from the warm mezze. Follow this up with a barbecue fresh skewer of chicken, lamb, Adana (lamb minced with herbs) for meat eaters, swordfish for fish lovers or aubergine for veggies. There are plenty more options besides, but instead of listing them all here, let us just recommend that you get yourself and your mates over to Ambiance Bar and Restaurant for a restaurant in Lytham with a Turkish twist.
