Amigos Mexican Kitchen

When we arrived we were informed that the electrics had failed on the upper seating area. This was due to the extreme weather. However, all was resolved and a place was made for our group of 8. it was the second time I have been and the food and the service was spot on . Excellent stuff , everyone enjoyed the whole experience.

Good food and service in a nice car atmosphere, would recommend. The sharer Nachos were very good, guacamole could be a little thicker but was still good

It's the second time we've been for a work outing to Amigos as the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Everyone was happy with their food and there's an off-licence handily placed opposite as it's 'bring your own' for alcohol. Service was friendly and the food arrived in good time. I'm sure we'll be going back again next year!

Amazing food! Taco try to start which was one of the best starters we’ve had. Mains were tasty and very generous portions! Will defo be returning!

Food nice but poor service. Waited half an hour to order and then got kicked off our table as the next customers were here. Used to be much better!

As always, the food was amazing. My parents were visiting from Liverpool & I have been telling them that when they came, they had to try Amigos. They weren't disappointed & are looking forward to their next visit so they can go again.

Fantastic food staff very friendly and helpful with meal choices and the restaurant was spotlessly clean will definitely be visiting again very soon and will recommend to friends .

We loved it food was really nice can even have a takeaway box brilliant. You can ask mild but if you have children that don't like spicy ask for extra mild.

All good, table ready, good service and food. Great atmosphere, room temperature warm could do with some gentle fans blowing air around. Overall great night out

Food OK, however waited over 20mins for mains & then had to ask a waiter for them. After paying for the meal I then had to ask again for my change.

We had a lovely meal here. The food is great, really tasty. It's a take your own drink place but there's a shop just across the road. Really enjoyed and will go back.

I am gluten free and found the staff to be very helpful as to what I could have to eat!!! excellant food and very reasonably priced

Lovely experience as always and the food at its impeccable standard of taste. Portions are always large and quality is great at a very reasonable price. Ideal for families.

With the exception of the lamb ribs (a lot of fat) the meal was exactly what we expected from Amigos. Tasty, filling, great value and the mocktails are great.

Great service as always, booked a table for 8 people and got seated straight away without any delay, the food was amazing fresh and tasty one of a kind

The food was nice and lots of options available. I'd give full marks except the custard sauce that we had is too salty and we talked to the staff and apparently it was their mistake. Overall, the food was superb.

Restaurant was very warm no air con the restaurant was short staffed so I do I understand the staff running around very friendly but the food wasn't on point this time seemed it was rushed and over cooked

There was 8 of us for a meal and the food and service was excellent. We had taken a cake for our nieces 16th birthday and they were more than helpful bringing the cake out with candles and playing happy birthday. Would definitely recommend.

The acoustics in the building are terrible, but the staff are friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced. Overall an enjoyable experience and we will be back at some point..

This is (reasonably) cheap and cheerful but the quality of the food is pretty basic. The cheese on the nachos is artificial sliced cheese melted - not real cheese, and the flavours in the mexican dishes have an artificial taste to them. The fruity smoothies and mocktails are good. Quite a good family place if you are not too worried about having delicious food. Personally, I won't be going back.

Excellent food, fast service. Spot on. Not as spicy as i thought it would be bus so tasty. Advise to book as gets very busy.

Last night was my first ever time at Amigo's and it definitely won't be my last! The food was good and the price was good as well! The place was really busy so I would recommend booking a table before you come.

We had a nice enough time at Amigos. The food was good but I found the standard of service to be very average at best. The staff didn't care and were not particularly welcoming, we had to go grab our own cutlery from other tables as the staff were so inattentive. That said, the food was great and full of flavour. Might go back, might not.

Food was very good value for money and really tasty. Bring your own beer as well. The only real let down is the noise. From other dinners to them blending ice behind the bar.. If you are OK with a noisey restaurant then this place is perfect

Booked a table for 6 for a christmas get together. Food was delicious but portion sizes were massive! 1 portion of beef fajitas served two very hungry ladies! Staff couldn't do enough to help you and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to friends, family and colleagues. We will definitely be booking again!

The food was tasty and very good value for money. It's ideal for family groups and friends with a party atmosphere and plenty of space.

After not visiting Amigos Mexican Kitchen for nearly a year due to no longer living in Sheffield, I organised a meal for myself and friends that had never previously been. Amigos was just as great as my previous experiences. Delicious food, big portions, very reasonable prices and friendly staff. We visited this Friday and it was very busy and noisy due to lots of Christmas parties, however the staff apologised for this which was a kind consideration. Service a little slow to take menu choice as expected from how busy they were but food arrived quickly and was very tasty. My friends loved it and said they would visit again. Thanks Amigos, will keep recommending.

Really good food and a variety of choices, particularly for a vegetarian. Prompt and attentive service, reasonable prices. BYO is a bonus. Will return and would recommend.

The food was excellent, as was the service. The staff are vey pleasant and helpful. The place is very clean and has a good atmosphere. The restaurant is not licenced so you can take your own wine or beer which I think is a bonus as you can always drink something that you like at supermarket prices. Overall, excellent value for money

My visit to Amigos Mexican Kitchen was overall very good. The food tasted absolutely amazing and the bill was very cheap. I would definitely recommend!

Good place, the food was tasty and well presented,waiting time not bad, that you can bring your own booze is also a great thing, specially when considering a group party!

Amazing food, great value meals at £6.50 - £10 for mains. Byo with £1 corkage made it excellent value. Friendly waitress. Only disappointment was the fact only 2 people per table are allowed to pay by card.

We was seated to our table promptly and was able to read the menu before being asked what we would like. The really nice food and the service was good, food came quickly and was great value for money would use again if we fancy Mexican food :)

Great food at excellent prices and the quantity of the food neverdisappoints. This restaurant is always busy so its wise to book even on a midweek night.

Lovely food and service will def be going back . The menu had lots of choices and being able to take your own wine is a.bonus
