For an unusual taste of Egypt in the heart of Sunderland, Arabesque restaurant is without question the place to be. Everything used to furnish and decorate Arabesque has been imported from Egypt, and you’d best believe this authenticity is carried over to food as well. Egyptian cuisine is a fusion of many different cultures and the Arabesque menu reflects this diversity just right. Begin with a combination of hot and cold mezze dishes before moving onto mains of tagine, lamb shank or chicken kabsa. It’s all fresh and it’s all spiced in a unique, intriguing way. You’ll find Arabesque restaurant on High Street West. Reserve a table now.
A warm friendly welcome on arrival. Food was excellent, altho a little to much for me. Was quiet busy and great atmosphere. All staff were friendly and not intrusive but on hand when needed. Would recommend to all wanting a change
An excellent and tasty Lunch Special. I had Chicken Shwarama wrap which was really nice and the Chunky chips amazing! My girlfriend had the Cheeseburger which was large and filling. With drinks-came to £18.90. Bargain. Will definitely return.
Great night, food was fantastic with great friendly service, the restaurant was lovely and warm in such a cold night, the belly dancing was great to watch. Great value for money.
